October 27, 2007 - Cruising around the Moon - A Magical All Hallows Eve Part 2

Thank you to all the prayers and well wishes for our daugther..we are looking forward to meeting some of you nice people...my name is Mike DW is Donna, DD16 Jennifer Ds 13 Mike also...we also have DMIL Alice and DFIL Dan...coming along with us...we have 2 connected cabins on deck 6..cat.6..with vernanahs....first cruise for all of us...hoping for good weather, good health, and no sunburn or seasickness...has anyone even tried Safesea...and is it needed<dd wants to know>... we learned a lot from these boards and hope to post more as we get closer to sail date...bye for now

Sean & Christine , where abouts in PA are you from? One of the meets is in Enola , I have never heard of it Are you anywhere near it?

We're South of Harrisburg. Enola is in the region. I think it is around (slightly in line with or North) H-burg.? I'd have to check the map.

Safesea--is that for when you're stung by sea lice? I think there's something in the Passporter about it. I know we didn't use/have it in 2005, but perhaps some of our more experienced Moonies have.

Yes that is it for sea lice..we read about it in passporter is it a real problem..we hope not..we are located north of Reading, Pa..near Hamburg...we love the country here..but also love the ocean water when its warm like the caribbean

We are looking forward to meeting you as well! My son (Noah - 8 when we cruise) and I did a 4 day and neither of us got sick... but I took dramamine every morning with breakfast and at dinner each night starting the day BEFORE we left... We are soooo looking forward to this one!!

I pray and pray that he won't get my horrible migraines... today I got to camp to pick him up and he was SOBBING because I wasn't there yet and he needed me and his head hurt and it was hot and Jenna was mean to him and ... and... and... My heart melted.

Poor guy, I'm hoping it's just the heat (very humid here today after such a long break from it) and that it's not really a headache. Spread some pixie dust our way!

That's odd, Ethan told me his head was hurting today for the first time. He said it was throbbing (well, he didn't use throbbing but described it). It only lasted a few minutes so I'm thinking some sort of vascular spasm. I hope Noah is doing much better now!

I have had migraines for years-not as often anymore, but my little brother started having them at around age 6. Not fun.

Why? To feed the fish? I saw a man put one in the waistband of his swim trunks. I almost drowned when i saw him swarmed with huge fish trying to eat it in his pants. Funniest thing ever!

Anyhow - what are the details for the trick & treating? I thought I read that the majority thought of doing the t & T on pirate night, the night before Halloween, was there any consensus?

I tried to add my kids names to the list pjpoohbear had, but it's not working.

Hi everyone,

Sorry for being so in and out

with school starting we ran into a great problem in that both of my kids qualified for Talent Development and the director of TD decided that my son might be qualified for an extremely unique program called Horizons for this school year... anyways after an extremely busy and slightly stressful few days he will be at his regular school and it will be great! we meet the teacher at 2pm today and all is back to normal

until January when my younger one will be tested for the same program, she has actually already qualified for it, but they need to do formal stuff in January to get her admitted for next year and it all comes down to an interview and they could still say no then....

anyways, after my 9:30am meeting, I am off to the mall and hope to see a great sale the disney store and be coerced into buying stuff =-)
