Hey everyone! Just booked me (Michele) and DH Korby on the Wonder for Oct 26! So excited! Took our first cruise ever on Sept. 29 from Galveston and had a blast!
Please add us to the FE list, Meet list and the Mixology wait list - hope there is enough to do a second one! We did a 'Beauties and Beast" get together last year and it was really fun! Probably similar to "Mixology".
Can't wait to meet everyone.
Celebrating our 6th Wedding anniversary and his 50th birthday on this cruise!
We are GTY right now in Navigator Verandah hoping for a good room (or upgrade)!

Do you think we will change that now Cat to make a smaller group? maybe we should bring that up on facebook to see if others mind making 2 smaller groups of 30 or maybe venturing out to see if someone would want beer, or wine instead of mixology? It all sounds like FUN to me the Halloboozers are back

We did one last year on the magic that was basically 'open bar' for an hour! It was in the piano bar, around 3pm I think, and we had the head bartender there! The organizer had some little drinking games for us with prizes as well as some trivia games with magnets for prizes. That's another idea as well! I am up for ANY of them!

I've got you all added to Meet 'n Greet and Mixology. I'm going to look into possibly scheduling 2 Mixology classes. I'll need to reach out to the group so we can see what would work for a 2nd date.

We now have 24 people wait listed for Mixology. Given that some have asked about whether we could do a beer or wine tasting, I'd like to see how many we could get if we did one mixology and one beer or wine tasting. I'm not going to expand beyond that though there are other liquor tastings available. As a reminder, a Mixology class is where you can learn to make different mixed drinks. The cost of each event is $15/person. So the question is, what is your preference for a class? If you're on FB, please vote there. If you're not on FB, please post your answer and I'll factor it in. The current mixology is scheduled for our second afternoon of sailing, Oct 27, tentatively at 3pm. Oct 27 is also formal night.

I vote for mixology - not a big beer or wine drinker.

How about a Halloween Palo Brunch group on the 31st. Private groups are limited to 12 to 14 in the private room. If there is interest we would be happy to request the reservation.

My DH and I would love to do a group Palo brunch!! We are trying to make as many new friends as possible

We will have one per stateroom. My mom got inspired from our last cruise and has already made most of her FE gifts. So, excited! I need to start brainstorming......so many ideas - so little time!

Oooh, also, I just checked the FE list and when you have a moment if you could change Jaclyn to Jadyn, that would be great! Thanks!!!

Attention everyone who has a daughter 9, 10 or 11...my daughter turned 10 in March and is going to be in 5th grade in the fall. She would like to penpal with any girls the are 9, 10 or 11. We have done this on several previous cruises and the girls become friends before even getting on the ship. Can anyone confirm this for me? We have not been back on the Magic or Wonder since all of our cruises on the Dream and Fantasy...Does the Magic and Wonder now have the power control decice that you have to slide your room card into to power your SR lights and air?

We would prefer mixology over beer/wine. I would love to get in on the Palo brunch. Mom does not care to go, and I was hesitant to book a solo brunch, so going with new DIS friends would be nice.
