Good morning, all!
My son and I will be joining you on this cruise. We were scheduled originally for Sept 27th but have had to switch because of things that came up.

This meet thread looks like a really fun group with a lot of great things planned. Please add us to the roll call.

I am Susie, mom and new grandmother(8 week old grandson) from Knoxville, TN. Chris, my son, will be 22 and has graciously agreed to join me on a wonderful DCL cruise. His only request was a Western Caribbean itinerary. We have late dining. Oh, yeah, its our 3rd DCL cruise. The first 2 were on the Wonder. So excited to be going on the Fantasy :-)

Look forward to catching up with the roll call (as I am only on page 21) and to meeting everyone,
Susie

Welcome to the group. I have entered you into the Roll Call. You were right in your assumption, we are a pretty fun group :thumbsup2 I like us:laughing:

There are a bunch of kids chatting away on the kids thread if Emily would like to join them. Julie will be 12 on this cruise as well and she is over there chatting away and getting to know the other kids. :goodvibes

My daughter, Olivia, will turn 12 on the cruise! She's over chatting with the kids on the thread as well!

DH would refer to a husband. D can be whatever you feel like calling him, (Dear, Disney, Dork..it probably depends on the day) The same is true for DW - wife..whatever the D your are using that day, we just read wife or husband. DD - daughter, DS - son, DIL - daughter in law, SIL - son in law,..ect. FE is a gift exchange known as Fish Extender. Bear probably has a link because Bear knows everything ;)

Thank you for the info!

Roll Call!

WOW!!!

Just finished reading through every post in the last 68 pages! I'm exhausted, but feeling like I'm starting to know some of you already. Some amazing ideas, and I'm looking forward to seeing what else develops as we get closer to our sail date.

This will be my family's 2nd Disney cruise. We took our first trip on the Wonder to Alaska last summer, and had an absolute blast. This time we will be bringing along my parents as well, although they will be in another stateroom, and most likely not participating in the Dis/FE activities.

Stateroom 6174 (08D) checking in!

Me! DH (36)

Marcie- DW (34)

Dylan- DD (3 1/2, by the time we sail)

I've invited our daughter to check in with the other kids over in the children's thread, but seeing how she's 2, she's a little preoccupied with her sippy cup, and seems content to just mash the keyboard repeatedly and say "Look, Daddy! I'm typing!" We'll have to work a little more on her written communication skills! :rotfl:

On our trip aboard the Wonder, the three of us were always together. We may have missed out on a few excursions, but we always found something fun to do as a family. This time, she will be three, and a little more accustomed to spending some time away from Mom and Dad, so whether it's time in the kids club, or hanging our with Grandma and Grandpa, we're going to get away and have dinner at Palo one night!

I'm looking forward to getting to know you all a little better throughout the coming months. the FE goodies will be a fun way to kill some time and build anticipation for the trip!

Welcome

Only 208 days to go. :cool1:

It feels as though, it wasn't long ago it was 508 days to go. :scratchin

Never under estimate Mother Time. ;)
If you do, it has a tendency to creep up on you, with a surprise. :duck:

Philosophy lessen of the night, from someone who needs a cruise, ... soon. ;)

And remember newcomers, if you purchase insurance within 7 - 14 days of original / initial deposit, odds are you will get a pre-existing condition waiver.

Does your stateside medical insurance cover you overseas? Odds are not.
Can you absorb a medical evacuation @ $15-30K back to the states?
Are you flying in the day of debark? Flights could still be affected by weather in October. Trust me. ;)
Point is, at least purchase medical and evac insurance IMO. Consider more if deemed applicable.

JMT's for the night.

:goodvibes

So I was looking at the growing list but didn't see my name and family info. :(
Just in case, here it is again.
Mine name is Brenda, DH is Rudy and we have our twins cruising with us which will be 4 by then. We are from Manassas, Va and our room number?? 8???... Don't know

:)

I have added you :thumbsup2 Just an FYI, I don't add people unless they make it known that they want to be added. So many people are not interested in having information collected and posted on a public website. Therefore, I only list when someone asks and only the information they list :)

To make my life easier, I took the lazy way out of ROLL CALL :lmao:

Please be sure to double check your information and make sure it is correct. There were a few I was unsure of (for example my DS (son) real name is Dominic, but someone had it listed as their DD (daughter)

You can edit and change all of your info as you see fit on ROLL CALL RESPONSE LINK Please only change your information. ;)

ROLL CALL and ROLL CALL RESPONSE links can be found on page 61

Thank you for your patience and forgive me for my mistakes. It took me some time to fill out the information. However, all newbies can fill out their info for themselves and make sure it is all correct to start.

Please fix your twins on the roll call response. I wasn't sure of the gender. I am trying to offend as few people as possible. :rotfl2:
