Someone sailing in June on our itinerary called and confirmed rotations, formal/semi formal nights, and pirate night. I guessed at the show order for nights 2, 3, 4, and 6.

This will be our first cruise, so I was wondering if you could clarify this for me? I'm guessing the letters are first letters of the restaurant and the rotation order.... But that's as far as I've gotten!

Correct.

A - Animators Palate
E - Enchanted Garden
R - Royal Court

During check-in at the port you could be assigned one of the three dining rotations. It will be printed on your Key to the World (KTTW) card.
You may request a rotation in advance too, but it's just a request if not staying concierge, but most are successful IIRC.

And the numbers are a quick way some old timers display the rotation. ;)
If that makes sense.

Of course not knowing your rotation prior to boarding makes it tricky to schedule your reservations. Most recommend guessing and book what you want in advance when your window opens. While waiting to board figure out the tweaks if needed, then immediately go to Guest Services/Adult dining change location first thing and tweak as needed. It's easier to adjust an existing ressie than to book a new one onboard for some reason I've heard. :confused3

DH would refer to a husband. D can be whatever you feel like calling him, (Dear, Disney, Dork..it probably depends on the day) The same is true for DW - wife..whatever the D your are using that day, we just read wife or husband.

DD - daughter, DS - son, DIL - daughter in law, SIL - son in law,..ect.

FE is a gift exchange known as Fish Extender.

Bear probably has a link because Bear knows everything ;)

Oh and Welcome to the group :good vibes:cheer2:

First cruises are always awesome, but this one is better because we have a pretty decent group here.

I am from the DC area (NW Washington) but my step father works in Fairfax County. My aunt is in Stafford, although..I'm from a huge family so there isn't really a county that we aren't living in up there. :upsidedow

.... because Bear knows everything .....

Thanks for the vote of confidence, but hardly.
I'm still learning as always.
I'm still fascinated at the unique situations/questions asked on the main forum. :scratchin

Got a couple more inches of snow today that stuck on the grass/cars. :rotfl2:
