how many platinum cruisers do we have?

I am platinum, this will be #15 (we were able to squeak two more in between now and October :) ).

And Ron, I hope Jen is doing well and will have a speedy recovery! Good thoughts coming your way! :)

Sorry for the confusion. No, booking an aft cabin is not funny. I have noticed there are a lot of Disers here, on this sailing, booked in the aft. I have mentioned this several times on this thread. I have joked, or not, lol, that we should relocate to the aft because it appears that is where many cabins are located. It could be a great party back there. That is all. I should have added more details to my previous post. Also, if IIRC, you have the big aft awesome wraparound balcony so you should be laughing.... at me. lol. Enjoy. :goodvibes
Lol. Got ya. I am very behind with this thread.

And yes---party in our room ;)

My wife, Jen (nenner1) is having surgery to remove her thyroid today. Please keep her in your thoughts...:goodvibes

Ron,
Hi, tell Jen that we are thinking of her and hope that all went well with her surgery today! We hope that recovery will go well for her too!

It's OK being behind this thread, as if anyone is up to date. lol. :rotfl2:
How would anyone know who posted what in the past. lol. It all good.
I don't even know what I posted at this point. lol.

Regarding aft cabin assignments.
I'm serious though, it seems 1/3 of the aft, is Disers. :confused3

Now a 1/4 of the Disers are directly on the stern, not only near the aft.
This is unique for any sailing I've sailed. IMO.
I wonder which direct aft cabins do NOT have Disers now. lol.
I suspect there are only 6 left. I'm confident they will be filled with Disers though eventually, for some reason. lol.

Perhaps I'll interpret this as learning experience concerning cabin selection in the future. :lmao: Book aft for the Diser' party.

However, I'm sure we will all enjoy our initial cabin selections booked, as we should, because we chose smartly. :rotfl: Obviously those booked in the aft knew what they were doing. Me, and others. perhaps not. lol.

I'm confident everyone will enjoy their cabins aboard regardless, as a day at sea is always better than a day a work.

Thanks for the well wishes for Jen. She appreciates the support. She is in some pain, but doing well and resting at home.

The 2014 Halloween on high seas dates came out for 2014, our sailing was not one of them. Good thing we have things going on :)

Glad to hear that Jen is doing well, but sorry to hear that she is in some pain. Hopefully she will be back to feeling herself soon. Let her know we are thinking of her.:grouphug:

Here are Halloween Dates....

Halloween on the High Seas Cruises:
• Disney Magic: Sept. 27 – Oct. 26, 2014
• Disney Wonder: Sept. 26 – Oct. 31, 2014
• Disney Dream: Sept. 21 – Oct. 31, 2014
• Disney Fantasy: Sept. 20 – Oct. 25, 2014

I personally think this is the most ridiculous thing I heard of. Nothing for the week of Halloween for the Fantasy / our cruise. I have also never seen a cruise line not do anything the week of the actual holiday. Do they not know we book Halloween week for Halloween. I am floored by this, it sure makes me wonder. I purposely booked this sailing for Halloween for my DD, and now find out it isn't even a Halloween sailing.

My 2014 has been changing by the hour since I got back from Fiji. I booked this cruise for the exact same reason. Samantha said specifically that she has already been DCL for Xmas and now she was wanting to go for Halloween. As it is, I am also booked on southern caribbean Oct 4th with my oldest. Then I saw your post and realized Oct 4th does have the Halloween. So, I told Sam last night about it not having Halloween on this cruise, but she said she wants to hang out with her new friend she has met (Stephanie) so she doesn't want to change.:thumbsup2

I am so glad I found this group willing to step up and plan things. While I think it is insane that DCL stopped the festivities, I am really happy to be sailing with a group of people this organized and amazing. We will celebrate Halloween despite DCL and their crazy rules. :rotfl2:
