What should i wear to my sons college graduation?

I am trying to get my stuff togehter for the trip and not sure what kind of attire is apporpriate for a collge graduation?

Black?
Bright?

Suit?
Pants Suit?

Dress Suit?

lol that is TOOOO funny! I agree with something nice and comfy, it will be a long, HOT day. Love what ya did with your living room, so contemporary. I likes! I have the red thing going in my living room, just one wall but man do i love how it turned out! maybe if you guys are lucky, i'll show ya a picture lol. anyway garage sale turned out pretty good, but not so good because we are doing it again this weekend lol. i think sunday was a bad day and friday and saturday will be better. cross your fingies!

Thanks for the welcome. We are from Northeast Ohio, near Youngstown. Your living room looks great! I love the hand painted rug. I like to take on projects like that in my home as well.

The window men are coming tomorrow to fit our new windows
hopefully they will not make to much of a mess
just after taken down all the curtians and tidyed up a bit
thinking I might start to paint some of the room now too seeing I have them half cleared out
why is it once I start on something in the house , I always come up with lots of other things to do
The Oil boiler has given up too , plumber landed but disappared to get a part and never came back , so still no heat , He better be back tomorrow first thing ,not that it will make much difference with all the windows out

But we are changing our cruise dates.

I am sad to be leaving you guys.

But my DS came home the other day after having an assembly at school VERY CONCERNED about missing school. Lots of info, but bottom line is he has to make up the days and he thinks it is not a good idea to miss that much school.

So if he is concerned i guess as a parent the best thing i can do i be concerned as well.

i have worked on our cruise plans for the last 4 hours.....

And what we have come up with is.....
EITHER
Dec 20........ 7 Night double dip
OR
July 18 (i think it is) 7 Night to Mexico.

Either way i really do have to do this!!!!!
We knew it was going to coem to this eventually, just have to be realistic.

I will check back in and let you know our NEW PLANS!

AND SOMEONE SAY HEY TO DREAM CRUISER 100 FOR ME!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello all, we too will be going on the cruise and I have one question. What hotel is in the Orlando Airport that we can get a day room for Nov 1st. We will be having a late flight out....can't remember which one...we cruised about 4 yrs ago...can't wait.

Dizzi, yer so mean to us! first you hint around, then you TRICK! us, now this!!?? meanie, such sad news, but hey ya gotta do what ya gotta do. I know it will be hard for my daughter to to miss 5 days, this will be hear 1st year in middle school, BUT its pretty early in the school year when we set sail so i think she'll be just fine. anyway i hope you meet some new friends on the other boards, but remember...they wont be us! hehehe

House update
Half the windows are in today and they are really really tidy , wouldn't know they are working in the house
Plumber came back this morning so we have heat again ,but he said it won't last too long so a new boiler is on the cards ,hopefully it will last until after the holidays is all paid for
Got our AP's yesterday in the post , so after paying off the cruise and bying the tickets our credit card has been well used this month
but with the good rate we are getting for the dollar now had to do it
so all I have to pay for now is the car hire and the visa card

Hey, I had to leave y'all a long time ago for this same reason. My son's school is tough about this and we also were not able to sail this year. Come on over to our very small (very, very, small) group of DIS'rs for the 4/18/09 Western Cruise - that's a vacation week for my kids. We'd love to have you!

we are in the process of seeing which cruise we will take this year as
we really are kind of screwed to have tot ake a cruise or do soemthing by May

Since we used points and now that they were reservations points we have to use them or loose them.

I may check into the spring break thing!
