hey lynn - i can feel your pain! last year i met my best friend and her husband in wdw - it was their first time there - and i was very nervous about how they would feel - to put it bluntly - she doesnt like kids - i dont have any - but part of my fun is seeing the excitement on kids faces when you are there

they didnt want to make any plans - wanted me to do everything - and - well - im already anal so that was not an issue - what i ended up doing was putting together the itinerary - made dinner ressies for the 4 of us - and then i said, "here is what we are doing. i wont be offended if there is anything on here you dont want to do - we can just pick a time to meet later" - they did end up doing most things with us - the day we planned the water park her husband chose to sleep in and then he just hung at the pool afterwards

on their last day (we still had 3 more dayes) we met them for breakfast and her husband thanked me for doing everything - he said you dont have any idea how big the world is until you are actually there and they would have been lost with out me doing all those plans - and now - they are talking about returning!! yay!

YUMMM!!! Five Guys is THE BEST BURGER EVER!! And I'm not just saying that 'cause they started right here (we have probably 5 within throwing distance of our house!). Beware the fries, though! They multiply like hangers in a closet!

I am so excited!!!!!!We are flying into Orlando monday to look at houses in Lakeland, Auburndale, and Winter Haven. We only have 2 days to do it. DH already got his job transfer for Best Buy to Lakeland. He is waiting on word of other job.I sent my application in to Lakeland Hospital at 3 am and they have called me and I interview next Tuesday. Everyone keep your fingers crossed. I am not canceling the cruise until I find out what we are doing and if I can have the time off. I really want to move to Florida, have for many years.I would sooo not miss the snow. But if I have to cancel I will miss meeting everyone.

Well we have officially canceled our cruise to day.

With so many issues........
Like the family coming the next month.

My dad being ill.

And taking the kids out of school

Oh no Dizzi, First you and now me. I am putting off the call but I will need to do it soon. I never realized how much it would be to move. I am getting overwhelmed with the thought.

OMG - that is terrible news and I am so sorry to hear it!
I'm sure it must have been horrible making that decision and even worse making that phone call Lynn and I am so sorry that we won't be cruising with you. It has been really nice getting to know you and chatting to you over the past few months, and it will seem really strange you not being part of this any more. Are you planning on rebooking for the future? Are you still going to WDW the week before the cruise?

Just want to send you a great big as you probably feel down in the dumps after such a horrible day.

Haven't been around as much. Getting caught up.

Met more greyhounds at the hockey game on Sunday. We have an adoption coordinator coming to the house Thursday to meet with us. Must get out the pixie dust.

Mom and Dad in for a visit from NY this past weekend. Alumni rifle match at our alma mater. They actually have a campus now. Wow. A good time was had by all. Will have score results later this week.

Work is busy for Working on training manual revisions, training schedules for new staff, and installation of new technology.

And, not an April Fool's joke: today is the 14th anniversary of our first date. She asked me, picked the restaurant (Bistro Romano, Phila), and I picked the movie (Naked Gun 33 1/3).

Had an enjoyable dinner out tonight. Nothing fancy, as far as atmosphere, but they make some good food at ok prices.

Christine and I figured it was a joke, but weren't sure about all the other issues you mentioned recently: in-laws visiting, school worries, etc. Right as I went to the DIS tonight, I said to Christine, "well, I wonder who cancelled the cruise for April Fools this year?" When you quoted them all in your post, and said you were cancelling, Vital was my first thought.
