Just paid off the cruise great dollar rate at the moment for us just need to wait for the Visa bill now and use real money

Okay, I tried to find the post about moving to lakeland. Who was it that lives there and there is a house close by for sale? I am heading that way in 2 weeks house hunting. We will be down there for 2 days looking in Lakeland, Auburndale and Winter Haven. We have had enough of winter and the cold. I have had it with where I work. Working on getting my license endorsement so I can get a job down there. It looks like a lot of very nice hospitals in the area.Dh is going to take a transfer. If we find something we may have to cancel the cruise so we can move. Hate to miss it but next time we will be closer to port. I will keep you posted.

I cannot believe what happened to me to day!!!!!!!!!

I went to get the BACK of my hair trimmed

LET ME SAY THAT AGAIN!!!!!! THE BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And he was cutting and then he blew it dry a way that I NEVER blow dry my hair.

I get in the car and look in the mirror to change it up a little and notice he has TOTALLY BOTCHED THE SIDES of my HAIR One was shorter than the other and just a mess!

LEt me say that AGAIN..... THE SIDES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! of my hair!!!!!

Okay yeah i saw him trimming the sides i figured he had to even it up since i was geting the back cut understand able.

But THIS WS HORRIBLE!

I called the hari salon from the parking lot and told them....now in tears that he had messed up my hair! and i did want it fixed but i wasnt coming back with him there....so i went back 2 hours later.

Of course they cannot give me my hair back but they did EVEN up the sides

So now i have been set back in length by about 4 months!

I am sooo upset i was sure it wold be to my chin by the cruise no i can only hope for MAYBE to my lip area!!!!!!!!!!!!!

UUUUUUUGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!

It will be OK dizzi. Yes, it is not what you want but at least it will grow back. You have time before the cruise. Look at it this way.... you probably lost a few more ounces and you did not have to give up a cookie for it.

I just cant believe it!

i was just LOVING my hair.

It had gotten tot he point that i actually didnt considerit SHORT! anymore!
I have had such trouble growing my hair out and FINALLY i had gotten to the point i could look in the mirrror and SAY WOW i really LOVE my hair!

THAT WAS EARLIER TODAY!!!!!!!!!!

Now i am back to the point of waiting till it grows out!!!!!!!

I think i read that the new policy is 2 perperson and 1 carry on per person!

Which is just about what we did last year and we had over packed.

So my goal this year is 1 large suitcase per person and then 1 extra for shoes and costumes and then maybe 1 carryon!

Just a note to all of you....

Thanks for the welcome! Not only is it our first cruise, but it is also the first time both my wife and I will be visiting someplace that is not part of the US!! We are really excited about it and looking forward to all we will experience.

Does anyone have some advice as to what to plan for excursions? We really need to start planning them so I can make sure we plan ahead for them. Since I have never been before, tell me what we can expect on Castaway Cay as well as in Mexico.

You will LOVE this cruise! You cna do as much as you want or as little as you want. One thing we learned was not to plan TOO much or you feel ragged out on your vacation! Anyway you do it, you will have fun though!

Dizzi - sorry about your hair. Have been growing mine out for about 2 years now - last time I had it trimmed, she cut too much off - I could have cried! But it doesn't sound like I had near so much cut off as you. But the one good thing about hair is that it grows back. We women are very sensitive about our hair!

Also tried to log into chat - no one there. I was also late getting on, so wasn't surprised to not find anyone there. CurlyKate and her family were here for supper - you can just imagine what the topic of discussion was all night!
