DreamCruiser100, I see you live in Lakeland. I am looking at your area to move to. I also am looking at Winterhaven and Davenport. I am so sick of the cold and snow. Oh and also the seasonal big potholes! It is like playing dodge 'em when you go anywhere. Any advice for when I am looking for real estate? Would love to be closer to the Mouse.

I live about an hour from the mouse, and about 3-5 miles from the Disney resort on the beach. The city is called Vero Beach, nice small town.

I LOVE Lakeland!! We use to be a "small" town but we have been growing quite a lot lately. I love it because we are in between Tampa and Orlando and our traffic isn't too bad, the people are very friendly, we are small enough to feel safe but large enough to have whatever you need close by. I am not a big fan of Winter Haven, but it is smaller than Lakeland if you are looking for a smaller town. I am not familiar with Davenport.

I have just spent the last FOUR days building a huge wooden swing set/ club house for my kids. I did it ALL by myself. Ok maybe a little bit of help from my daughter and hubby, but all they really did was hand me wood and screws lol. Anyway I am SOOOOOOO glad its done. But I am proud of my self of a job well done.

Yahoo, They are having MNSSHP on my birthday and I will be there. I just figured I would miss it. We are going down several days before the cruise so I could be there to celebrate. Can't wait!

We have decided to go to Disney World one or two days before the cruise. Our kids are only going to be 5yrs and 3yrs so I am not so sure how much we will be able to do but I am sure they will enjoy it. Is the Halloween party open to the public or is it a special event for DVC members only?

This is our first time to the park with kids. What things should we have on our absolute list?

Hi!!!

Still slaving away over here in Tampa.

I can't wait until my schedule slows down enough so I can spend some quality time over here.

I ordered some cool fabric for our fish extender. When I can scratch out some free time, the kids and I will get to work on it..... and everything else for the cruise!

Anyway, hope the ill feel better, the sad are happier, and the lives of the busy settle down soon.

Midwest Cruisers, the halloween party is a separate ticketed event open to everyone. We have went several times and really enjoy seeing the people in costumes. Lots of fun.

I have been so busy........
More like just so tired........

I got up at 2;30 am for the past 2 days and just couldnt do anything but sit on the couch after work! ( so see i do rest ocasionlly)

SO MUCH TO CATCH UP ON!!!

1. it took me all this time ever since i have been on the boards to realize what a passporter was!!!!!!!!!!!! HAHAHAHA dont have one wont buy one!

2. I am not sure about the EARNING my EARS thing....i talk way too much to remember!!!!!

3. We are definitley going to MNSSHP!!! as my countdown says.....Only way i can think to make this WHOLE surprise thing work!

4. I sort of wish we lived closer to the MOUSE.....3 hours is soemtimes too far! But WE do LOVE it here in FORT LAUDERDALE!!!!
