It would save me a lot in postage, plus tax if I get rumbled (and I did once with a big hot topic order and had to pay an extra £30 - not impressed)

Never even gave it a thought before about ordering from the US site, but it's so much cheaper & a much better selection than we can get in the UK. How far in advance of the cruise would I be best to order it?? Jackie..if you could let me know the shipping address that would be great. I can feel a large spend coming on

I did it again! I switched my cruise! Oh, the shame, the shame.

I am now cruising in April 2009 for vacation week.

We bought a house in December and my husband laid down the law - "no cruise this year!" Um, I guess that's OK because .......... the house ROCKS!!!!!!!!!! Plus we sold our house in 6 days for full list price!!!!

I am so so sorry I can't be with you guys. I have to miss The STEVEMED Fan Club Mancave???? Oh, I simply can't bear it!

I got your message Suzie, I am sorry I haven't gotten back to you. I was out with the Flu - godawful thing - last week. It's the one that's striking you even if you have had the flu shot. I am still suffering, but am sitting up right to type now.

I hope all is well with everyone - I will check in as often as possible. I just noticed we got locked out of our other thread! The insanity of it all!

You must include your sail date, ship name, reservation number, stateroom number and contents of the package, somewhere on the face of the package. Packages must arrive 1 day prior to sail date.

our boxes didn't arrive in our room until after dinner on the first night ,so do not ship anything you need right away

Hi I am back from my cruise. We went to Cozumel and Progresso Mexico. At Cozumel there were 6 ships. Port was crowded. We went to the Cooking class. It was very interesting and fun. The marketplace sure makes you appreciate our grocery stores. We spent about 30 minutes looking for what we needed. Josefina talked about many of the foods. Then we went to the cooking school 4 blocks away. We made a salad out of cactus,refried beans and guacamole. We drank a tea type drink made from hibiscus flowers. We then made our entree, chicken mole. We also made tortillas. Not as easy as you think.For dessert we had a Mango ice cream with mangos cut up on it. Very nice. I would do it again.

My mom just sent me and email that my Brother and Sister in law have split up.
I did not think it would bother me like it is.

I am near tears but cant cry right now cuz i dont want to upset the children.
And it is my younger sons birthday 15 today.

they have one small child my only neice she is 6 we took her too Disney World 2 years ago with them and had hopes of all of us going on a Disney Cruise one day. Guess that will be a notta.

I never realized how divorce hurts so many people.
Well i am going to have to stop even typing about it or i am going to cry.

i must think happy DISNEY CRUISE THOUGHTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dizzi,

First off - happy birthday to your son. I'm sure he won't be as excited about birthday wishes from strangers as my DS11 was - but had to acknowledge it anyway!

Secondly - I am really sorry about your brother and sister in law. It must be hard trying to keep everything in - and this isn't a good secret like the cruise. Break ups are much more difficult when a child is involved - hopefully they'll be able to put their differences aside enough to continue to parent together. I work with so many families who use the children against each other - and that turns into a nightmare, especially for the kids.

But think happy thoughts - it's amazing how many families can get through this. And of course in 8 months we'll be on Castaway Cay - don't know about you, but I am planning on leaving all my worries at home!

dizzi, So sorry to hear about your brother and sister-in-law. You must try not to let it bother you too much. It is out of your control and being upset won't help. Maybe they will work it out. My parents split many times when I was growing up and they ended up being married 45 years before he died. Yes, it upset us kids but we got through it, many do.

Happy Birthday to your son. Hope he had a good birthday.

Lets see.... happy Disney Cruise thoughts.... Castaway Cay, the shows, the parties,the happy servers, the buffets and desserts(I know we are trying to lose weight but a girl has to dream), tiny bathrooms and suck your wrinkles out toilets just to name a few.
