What is the Mousefest cruise?

That's right, Disney-cruiser is working with the roll call. My mind is somewhere else these days

Mousefest is a sea/land convention /get together for people who love Disney. Its organized by several travel co. and those who write books about WDW/Cruises. When I booked, our TA had group booking I guess for mousefest, giving us a good deal. When I get back, I'll have a better Idea about the mousefest experience

OK Diz, if it's being blond that causes this, then I have no excuse as I'm a brunette! LOL

My latest excuse is that we've moved across country, my husband is officially retired military Dec 1st and trying to find his new civilian career.

I'm teaching an LPN program, working NICU nights every other weekend, and going on job interviews.

Oh, and on Friday we signed a contract on our new home.

Then there's being in a motor home until we move in our house.

4 people and two dogs.

Thank goodness my parents are here and I can pop over to WDW when I need invigorating.

I think some of us should start meeting there, booking value rooms to hang in, and hitting PI.

Did you know they serve drinks in BUCKETS?

I wonder how I knew that?

then you take DIS transportation back to your room to crash, no worries about driving or cabs.

Oh, and I'm taking my Princess to see Hannah Montana tomorrow night after a long day of teaching.

I'd like that cruise to come NOW!!!

I used to live in Kissimmee, oh about 13 years ago( seems like another life ago) and LOVED going to PI with a group of friends!

If your son uses the itnernet at all, I am sure my Son would be willing to bounce soem emails back and forth to your son so he isnt "alone" the firts time up in the stack!

How old are your DDs?

Our girls will both be 17 when we cruise. My DS does use the internet a lot - he is never off YouTube! I will get his email address and PM you - it would be great if he could chat to someone who has been there and done it all - it would be great to find out what goes on in The Stack! Thanks!

Hi ulittletinker I will be looking for you at mousefest. Anyone else going that I could see there? We are making it a cheap trip, staying at ASM (my mom and I). She is really excited about the trip, she has never been to mousefest but I have taken her many times with me to WDW.Scince my DH would not let me invite her on this cruise I am taking her on a RCCL one in Feb.

Wow LovableGluttons you sure have alot going. I am a rehab Rn and work every weekend. I don't think I could take care of babies, I am just not a kid person but I love my older patients. How close are you to Orlando? We want to move down there in 2 years after my DS gets out of college.

Oh and as far as the weight loss thing, I guess I will be starting earlier than planned. Big contest at work for most lost. Would you believe it starts when I am at Mousefest. Just my luck.By the time Jan. gets here I will be ready for some support and encouragement from our group.

Great, I'm in cabin 2128. R U going to the meet/greet on the ships for mousefest. I know a bunch of are that are going but not Mousefest member are also meeting. I'm not sure where I'm which one I'll be at. PM me your cabin and I'm sure Santa will stop by, but make sure you have a stocking hanging on the fish,

Hello! We are booked for this cruise too! Very excited!! This will be our 4th Disney Cruise and we absolutely love it!! I'm sure ya'll have discussed this, but I am very interested what Disney does for the kids for Halloween. DD5 and DD2 will be with us, so I am looking forward to lots of Halloween for with them. We just got back from WDW on Friday, so now I am fully focussed on our next Disney trip with all of ya'll!!

Disney did a Trick or Treat with diferent stations at diferent aread of the boat, it was cute to see all the kids dressed up.
Also they had a GREAT BIG PARTY afterwards where every one ended up to get there last candies, (IF you followed the map correctly). I was sooooo partied out by then and i think my DD was too. So we only stayed for a short time and went to the ARCADE!

As a DIS BOARD we had a REALLY GREAT HALLOWEEN scavenger HUNT it was awesome too! The kids definitley had a GREAT HALLOWEEN!

There is also different stuff they do in there clubs that makes it alot of fun for them!

Also, they have a BIG COSTUME contest FOR ADULTS!
I am trying very hard to come up witht he winning costume!

HAVE COME UP WITH NOTHING YET!!!!!!!!!!!

We're just north of Tampa in Land 'O Lakes (yes, world's largest nudist colony is here, but that's just not my thing.) only about an hour's drive on I4 over to the house of mouse.

Things like being able to take my daughter to see Hannah Montana, the beaches, no state income tax, and some of the reasons why we settled here after the Air Force.

I love Fort Lauderdale! Gorgeous place!

We're doing clinicals in rehabilitation centers right now! Wonderful patients and very accommodating nurses there.

Babies are so tough. I really think they can overcome a lot more than adult patients can. My favorite are pretermers once they reach about 32 weeks. They just seem to wake up and want to check out everything!

I'm over in Tampa, about an hour's drive from Orlando (WDW). It's nice to hop over and spend the day at Typhoon Lagoon in the big wave pool or at Downtown Disney.
