Okay s Ive been absent for a while, what did I miss? reading reading read...zzz so sleepy.

Hi!

I had a naughty thought today.

I wonder how much it would cost to upgrade to a jr suite? Cat 1-3?

Or just spend the extra on rebooking?

We're headed to Epcot tomorrow to spend the day.

We have a week booked in early April to celebrate my DS's birthday, at Pop Century, but we had a family meeting tonight and everyone agreed they wanted to go spend the day there tomorrow too.

I am determined to start a "cruise" box and add more to my planning journal so we know what we want to see and do during the cruise.

I'm going to make my own fish extender, just need to figure out what Disney theme to use.

and also plan to make door decorations.

and...

It seems like it will be here before we know it!

DisneyBride 96 - I love all your door signs!

We are defintely doing our doors, but I haven't really thought about any designs yet ......suddenly there seems so much to do : fish extenders, door signs, pirate costumes, halloween costumes, trick or treat gifts etc etc, and only 8 months to do it in!

Thats not to mention all the other things I need to organise - such as booking everything! :scared1:

Lovable family: have a great day at Epcot - how lucky you are just being able to pop there for a day out!

We'll be doing our door too but I am nowhere as creative as you guys! WOW!

Not sure about the fish extender thing. I really don't want it to take a lot of time out of being on the ship with my family. Can someone give me a bit more information?

ToT we're definitely in for! SOunds like the Diser's dis Disney in this department! I think it would be fun for Tori and Ameera to do! Gotta be safer than the darks streets at home, for sure! COOL!!!

I'm really getting excited about things! I just tend to procrastinate a bit and then stress while actually doing things! I can think of all the ideas I want but actually following through, that's another story!

Busy day today, so not sure I will be on tonight for chat or even back on the boards today. I have to find some ppwk at dad's apartment, clean my house for company tonight, cook dinner for company tonight (our belated Vday dinner!), go visit the patient rep and hospice rep at the hospital, visit dad at the hospital (they've given permission for the girls to be able to come into the unit!), get over to my mom's to set up her DVD player we got her for Christmas (!), and Ed has to run over to Manassas for a meeting with his business partners! Oh, and get started on laundry in all of this!:laundy: LOL!!! Gotta love these days!

Happy Saturday everyone!!:dance3:

Not the best valentines here. I am glad everyone else is having one.

If anyone has caught the news today~~I live right by where the Northern Illinois University shooting happened. (about 10 minutes) One of my employees just left campus to come to work prior to the shooting. My neighbor transported the injured to the hospital (he is an EMT). All the area fire departments sent their ambulances.

I am in shock. I live in a rural, quiet area.
My prayers are with the families and students.
I hope all is well with your families as well. :grouphug:

Dana

Thoughts and prayers go out to all of those effected by this tragedy.

Was supposed to cook, but opted out last minute and got DH to pick up pizza on way home from DS9's hockey. Today is my birthday as well, and refuse to cook!

Tried the chat, but late getting on tonight, so guess I missed everyone. Is there a way to save the chats and access them later? I know from the last few times that I was able to chat, we looked at all kinds of cruise details. Anyone who participated tonight able to let us know any details from chat tonight?

Valerie

NO there was not many chatting.
I chatted to myself for a while and i saw that DREAMCRUISER100 chatted with herself for awhile.
That was about it so noone missed anything!!!

Pam (DreamCruiser100) made the Moonies a helpful list last year, with all the FE room numbers on it. This was a great help. It was a nice way to explore the other parts of the ship, as well as see all the nice door designs. We made a pass through :tiptoe: while the DIS ToT was going on, to give folks a surprise while they were out helping the kiddies. I think DIS ToT was on a sea day. That should narrow down the choices, if we go that route this fall.

Any place at MCO where you think bags of candy can be purchased? We figure the Disney store for sure. No doubt, we'll be visiting there.

We saved our packing lists from last fall, and look to use them again, with some minor changes. Planning on using the same FE. Cruise box has the waterproof boxes, glow sticks, etc. in it already. Waiting for SWA to open up their schedule, and the new Passporter to ship. Reviewed the DCL site recently to add excursions to our wish list.

Had the tax meeting yesterday :darth: Got to measure :bride: 's office, to calculate things for 2008. And review/track all sorts of bills.

Going to dinner in an hour at a golf-course based restaurant a couple of miles away. Just heard, "are you wearing a suit tonight?" Have to go...

:groom:

For fish extenders: PaDisneyCouple room 6624. Had to go look it up, as we've stayed in another room for both our other cruises.

Sean

We'll be doing our door too but I am nowhere as creative as you guys! WOW!

Not sure about the fish extender thing. I really don't want it to take a lot of time out of being on the ship with my family. Can someone give me a bit more information?

:

it only takes up as much times as you really want it too.
i would say at the VERY MOST a 1/2 hour one time would cover you.
You would get a list like TOTALLy is making. And you would just walk room to room delivering goodies to each Fish Extender.
Do it alone or with the kids.

The goodies can be as extavagant as you would like or as inexpensive as a sucker.
My own personla pros were............
You can give enough for just the kids in the room or add enoug for the adults in the room as well.

If you put the items together before hand in a plastic baggie with the rooms #s on it, it will be quicker and easier.

It is very fun for the children to look and see what they have received each day. I also used ours to give my own children gifts. no need to even now it was from me. they each got a pin in theirs every day to add to their collection.

I also really enjoyed making our gifts we gave out, i made alot of magents for doors! Which i wont be doing this year as i dont think i can get by with doing it and keeping the secret!!!!!!!! sssssssshhhhhhh

Seeing all the different floors is very cool to and i would not have gone if i were not on a mission!

Gifts for this cruise are EASY becasue it is Halloween and you can give CANDY! or GUM! or spider rings! or TATOOS!

My own personl cons were.........
The dizziness in the hallways. Make sure not to look at the rugs in the hallways too much.

I tried for too many trips i wanted so much to do everybody once a day but soon realized that was an impossibilty and changed and put all my stuff in groups to deliver on the night before last.

I needed an extra box to keep my goodies in that the kids received....i will bring soemthing just fro that this time around!

So as you see it wont take up too much time.
And all in all it is very fun!!!!!!!

Here is our count down.
251 days
6031 hours
361909 minutes
21714549 seconds

I'm so looking forward to meeting everyone.
The weather here stinks so it makes me think of the cruise even more.
Has anyone thought about any excursions yet?

CABIN # 2141~

as of now

WE MAY CHANGE our room # as i am thinking of doing an upgrade maybe....although i would liek to see if i can handle and iside room so i would know.

OH GOSH ALL THE DECISIONS?????

It would save $$$$$$$ for more DRINKS OF THE DAY! If i just stay put!!!!!:rotfl:

The Only thing i am sure of is.....
Getting my DS 15 a Banana Boat Ride both times we are at CC
other than that i have not made any final decisions.

I CAN TELL YOU we will NOT be doing any BUS TOURS!!!!!!!!!!!

Lynn,

We love the inside cabin. We usually go with category 10 or 11. We find that the only time we are in our cabin is to sleep, take showers and change. Since we don't hang out in it, it is perfect and less expensive. Because...you have to have the drink of the day every day!!!!! Sleeping was great to because it is nice and dark - so if you stay out late, you can sleep in easily.

Lisa

That is one of my biggest fears of the inside room.
Is i dont like to sleep in ESPECIALLY ON VACATION!!!!!!!!!!!

I want to be up early.

So i am thinking i am going to bring a battery operated light set my alrm for a certain time to it on and then reset alarm.
