We haven't cruised on Halloween before but from what I've read there is some trick or treating on the ship but DISers have their own T&T. We do have alot of time to plan . My youngest dd is so excited to dress up, I already promised her a "fancy" princess dress .

How to Make a Fish Extender

Pockets are 11" X 5 1/2"
Back is 32" X 8"

Materials:
You need 1/4 yard of fabric
iron interfacing
wide double fold bias tape, and
3/8" dowel 8" long

Instructions:
- - - Cut out backing and pockets then iron on interfacing.
- - - Sew bias tape on top of pocket
- - - Pleat once on each side and pin bottom of pocket so that it is 8" wide.
- - - Baste, then pin bias tape on bottom and sew on
- - - Pin pockets on backing and sew bottom of pocket to backing
- - - Pin and baste around entire outside of project.
- - - Pin then sew bias tape around outside edge of whole fish extender
- - - Fold top over leaving room for you dowel at top and sew along the inside of bias tape down each side to secure.

My oldest dd will turn 12 on the first day of the cruise and My youngest dd will be 6. I also have a ds who will be 13.

My youngest will be 7 in October, and my oldest will be 10 in December of 2008. Do your girls go to the kids clubs? We took a four-day cruise last year. They were 5 and 7 so they were together in the same age group. This cruise they will be separated. I am not sure how they will react with that. In another year, they may be glad to be apart!

I have 2 girls as well and they will be 5 and 7 at next cruise time. We wanted to be sure that they would both be in the same age group, as our first cruise they both had a horrible time in the kids club and do not want to go back.

They went to the clubs but only after dinner, it was a three night so we were soooo busy durning the day. They will spend more time since we don't have to pack so much to do in such a small time.

It sounds like there are going to be several girls from this thread. Maybe by the time we cruise they will all be excited about meeting each other and have a wonderful time in the clubs!

DH and I will be on the 10/25/08 alternate western too! Sadly, DS won't be able to join us as he will be in his Freshman year at Purdue. We have done a 3 night DCL and a 7 night DCL western cruise before and LOVED, LOVED, LOVED the cruise!! DH is kind of hard to please when it comes to vacations (he only goes to WDW every 3rd time or so with me and DS!!) and he was NUTS about the DCL cruises. He's always telling friends that they really need to go on one to see just how spoiled you can be! His favorite part of the cruise is CC and now he'll get TWO stops there. He will really think he died and went to heaven!! Hopefully we will all get to know each other in our loooong 20 month wait and help with the excitement build-up that a DCL cruise brings!

dsnyacct ~ We have never stayed in any of the SPH rooms. On our last cruise we had a verandah on deck 6 in the aft. It looks like the SPH rooms are in an excellent location and convenient to the kids clubs. We also loved Castaway Cay. I am very happy that we have two stops. We booked onboard last year, but when the 2008 itinerary came out, we decided to wait a year for the DD and try for the SPH rooms. Now that we have them, here comes the hard part...the wait!

sg4Disney ~ Yes, the SPH are WONDERFUL (especially at the price!). I was so happy to get one for this cruise as the "secret" about them is spreading. With only 6 of them on-board, they are definitely a hot commodity.

Trying to talk DW into this cruise. We're on the 10/27/07 7-night. The DD sounds very interesting. Our CC day in 2005 was ruined by a tropical storm, so we've yet to experience a Disney Day at CC (let alone 2 on the same cruise). But, we haven't been back to the BC since 2003. I tried just "subscribing", so I could find all of you if we book this cruise, but it didn't seem to work. We want to do Disney in 2008, but can't make up our minds between the 2 choices.

Hi!! Count us in!!! We were trying to do the Eastbound repo in 2008 but we just can't justify the cash for 1 vacation. We looked at the options for 2008 and we think it will be fun to do CC twice and for Halloween too.

It will be me, DH, DS (10) and DS (3). DS (10) loves the clubs. We cruised in December and had to drag him out of the clubs to do family activities. We think the reason he has such a good time is because he "chats" with the other kids before the cruise and they are really excited to meet and hang out by cruise time. Whatever it is, it works for him, he loves to go on DCL for vacation. He tells his friends here that he is on his own special vacation.

This is going to be fun, DH never dresses for Halloween but is already trying to think of something we can be together.
