Oh...back to the real world...Congrats to everyone who got their docs. Our friends who are going with us...just got theirs today also...They booked with Dreams....and I think she said they came UPS this afternoon.

My friend did say her and her sons name were spelled wrong....off by a couple letters on their last name. Anyone else run into any issues like that before? I suggested she at least call Dreams and let them know..I don't think at this point they can re-print the docs and get them back out in time...I don't know if the error will be a BIG issue...or something simple that can be worked out at the terminal...I guess we'll hope for the best.

Anyway...congrats to all the docs that are arriving.

I would tell your friend to call Dreams ASAP and get it fixed. I have heard from others that it can be a big issue, depending on the situation. Better to clear it up now than at the port.



Glad to see everyone is getting their docs now! Everything is really coming together for us this week!

We finally got hubby's pirate costume and mine is all fixed now too! He got all dressed up in it yesterday and he looks so cute! Very piratey!!! I can't wait for Pirate Night!!!!

Went to chiropractor the other day and made another appointment for Friday (we leave next Wednesday) so hopefully it will help out a little with all those rides we will be doing at WDW!

Going tomorrow to get travel medical insurance and travellers cheques and US cash!! Wooo hooo!

We started having problems with our Canon S400 Digital Elph so we took it in about a month and a half ago. Long story short, because it was still under warranty, we got a credit for the cost to fix it ($260) so we decided to put that towards the purchase of the Canon Powershot SD550 7.1 MP and I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!! It is so TINY I can slip it into my fanny pack for the parks instead of lugging around the Digital Rebel XT. And it is much quicker than the S400! We had to buy a new memory card for it because it takes SD not CF. But hubby has two 256's from his palm pilot so that was handy!

Looks like Tammy won't be an issue for us so now we only have to worry about Vince and Wilma!!! (Willlllllllllllllllllmaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! )

Anyone else getting slightly nervous??? Maybe I am just weird but I get slightly nervous before we leave. I always think I am going to forget something or that I forgot to plan something blah blah blah.

I'm with Timon on getting somewhat nervous about hurricanes. I wasn't at all until they had on the news this morning that they are predicting 2 hurricanes this month, one being huge. Not good. Like 48% chance of the huge one hitting the states.

Document update- They are in but at my TA's office. He promised he'd have them to me by Friday. Interesting how I e-mailed him about them the SAME DAY he got them in the mail. I'll be dancing on Friday

I just got off the phone (well a while ago)...with my friend. She contacted Dreams via e-mail...and the gal got back to her...She said she already contaced DCL...and got things straightned out on their end...so they'll have all the correct information at the terminal when we check in. But they won't be sending anything new out...she said the ones she has would work just fine. And DCL knows of the error...so all should be good I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

OK, I am starting to feel pretty sorry for myself since everyone else has their docs except me. I did talk to DCL today for another reason and they said they had mailed them to the TA on the 3rd, so they should have them tomorrow. I hope they are quick getting them out of their office! I am so ready for them to come.

If anyone's kids are waiting for a new message on the kids' thread, Alexandra posted there a few days ago. She's 7 and there seem to be a lot of kids around her age going, which she loves. She's very social. She's still hacking away from time to time, so I sure hope her doctor gives her a clean bill of health next week at her pneumonia follow up!

First, thanks for the info. We found my husband an awesome suit, 2 new shirts, and 2 new ties at JCPenny's. There were buy 1 get on for a $1. At least he will have it now and when we go on our next cruise.

What is this Pirate night I've heard so much about?

If we have the shows and then the dining, do I need to plan on a different outifit for the shows and then change before dining? What's appropriate for the shows?

My DD (Kaylee) is 8 also and loves posting on the board, but hates waiting for anyone to respond.

Reading through the board is pretty funny....I love how they use as many smilies as they can in their posts! So cute!

For the shows..It's a mix..some people go casual then go back to change for dinner ( there is a small gap in time between the two)..Or I guess if you have early dinning and the later show...you could dress for dinner...change then attend the show. BUT there are some people who chose to dress for dinner and the show...wearing their dinner attire. So in other words there is no dress code for the shows...it's which ever way you decided is best. We like to go to the shows casual..then dress for dinner.

Pirate night...I beleive is on the nights were at Cozumel. Shows are the normal show that's scheduled that night...as for dinner they have a special pirate night menu...(That you get to take home )..along with bandanas for everyone. Some people decide to dress pirate like for dinner...where others do not. Before pirate night was started it was tropical night...so quite a few people still dress more tropical this evening. Around 9:45pm...they start the Pirate night party out on deck 9 (weather permitting...when we went last year it was raining...so our pirate party was o moved indoors)...at the party charactors come out do their thing...they also have a food buffet lined up. I'm not the best person to describe the ins and outs of pirate night...because ours was so diffrent. I don't think the charactors really did what they do out side...and I don't remember a buffet set up at all...but that's more or less what happens. Our group is planning on dressing like pirates and tropical wear for dinner, shows and the party.
