Duane, when u book, u have an option to chose an assigned cabin OR a guaranteed category. If you chose a guaranteed category without a cabin, you have a better than average chance of getting upgraded for free.

Yes, it says cat 5. What does that mean? I am told they can change our cabin assignment up until check in! I just wish I knew one way or another so I could be mentally prepared for what I am getting. I don't want to go with the hope of a cat 5 and than be disappointed. I wonder if we will get our docs just 2 weeks before sailing!

Do you work full time as an agent in house or outside sales?

Britt, I am Sami's DH . I work as an independent agent from home.
As for the category, yes they can switch cabins, BUT since it says Guarantee cat 5 , they should only be able to switch us from one cat 5 to another OR upgrade. Just make sure you have that conf sheet if they try to stick us in an 11.

I have to take a quick trip down there tomm. I am going to head over to the port fri night to sat norning to see what I can find out. The Magic will be arriving sometime between then for sat's sailing to the E. carib.

I hope your right about them not being able to move us! So you are planning on a cat 5 forsure? That would be great! I am also and independent sales consultant. I have my own company name but I ticket through a larger agency so I don't have to deal with all the ARC stuff! Let me know if you receive your docs! Britt

Our suitcases are now sitting opened in our rooms and are half filled with *stuff* for our trip! (I think if I had to, I could be ready to leave in 20 minutes!!)

Tonight my girls are working on our door signs and a "countdown chain".....

Saw the Magic pull into port this morning (sat). There are 3 ships there at the same time. The Magic, Carnival Glory, and the Carnival Fantasy. Dumbotron was in full effect.

Three weks from now we willl be sailing on the Magic Yikes I still have alot to do before we go.

bschiffler I too am still trying to loose a few pounds and now that it is so close that is all it will be is a few lol.

Karen still no docs here in WI either and ours will be coming directly to us because I booked directly through Disney. I am hoping they will be here when I get home from work tomorrow! From what I understand if you booked through a travel agent they will go to them. Have you called your travel agent to see if they can give you more info?

Last week DD and I both found dressy shoes that will go with all of our dresses/skirts so we won't need to bring multiple pairs of dress shoes. I am really trying hard not to overpack this time!!! DD has a laundry basket full of clothes for the cruise I think today might be a good day to go through it with her and see what can be eliminated and I should go through the closet with DH to see what he wants to bring. It's getting close to packing time now

I am pulling out the suitcases today, and starting our packing. I have been throwing little things in a tote bag for a while, but I have to get the clothes organized now. WOW! It is really getting close! 19 days!

Britt, Our cabin is 7054. Cat 5 as promised by Diz. Looks like everything is normal.

BTW - the online system STILL shows no cabin assigned.

Thats great! I haven't received anything yet! I am glad you got category 5, I hope I do too. Maybe we will have cabins close by one another. I think are kids are around the same age! I have DS5 and DD 2.5.

Sami.. I just called DCL and they gave me my cabin numer on the phone. Cabin number 7030 Cat 5!! Yeah!!!
