The problem with those huge threads is that you end up with too many cooks in the kitchen. It's hard to get a group that large to agree to everything, especially when most of them don't really know each other very well.

Just my two cents.

I'm glad this is a smaller group - it's easier to remember who everyone is!

The problem with those huge threads is that you end up with too many cooks in the kitchen. It's hard to get a group that large to agree to everything, especially when most of them don't really know each other very well.

I think there is a total of 271 DISers so far over there, and that doesn't include me since I haven't emailed my stuff to them yet.

The boat only has 877 rooms, so right now, 31% of the rooms are DISers.

I just looked at the list again and there seems to be about 17 of us that post on a regular basis. I did count Steve, who started this thread, but not sure where he's been lately.

It does sound like IC did drop the ball on some of those ressies though.

And now it sounds like people got GTY and other people are coming in behind through the IC process and getting assigned rooms.

I just want to move my room forward about 8 rooms. I'm currently just aft of Lumiere's on deck 2, so that puts me under the front of the galley. I hope that some rooms open up.

IC did have a room for me, in addition to the one I secured on 1/31. They didn't call me though. I read that others from my Jan cruise got rooms, so I called them on Friday. They did have a room for me. Wonder if I would have ever gotten the call?

If am honest IF we get to make the trip i didn't care what room i got (WE GOT 6618)i just want,NO NEED to be on THAT BOAT!!....

ps...i was showing posie pee the QM2 today going into San francisco today on the web and she says "wow I'd love to go there dad" almost ,as am rubbish at keeping secrets,my plan is to book 3 weeks flights to Orlando then fly to either LAS VAGAS or SAN FRANISCO and then drive to the port but this may change after Ive taken to the roads this October.....

Wow you are a chatty bunch today! I have been spending the afternoon going through junk mail and bags af travel brochures that have been taking up way to much room in my closet for way too long and now I have to go back 5 pages to get caught up. Rcahel must be starting to feel a little better because she spent a little time on the DIS boards and told me I have lots of posting to do to be in the top 10 on this thread.
