October 20th 2007 Western Magic Part 9

We were on late dining as well, and after missing the first 2 nights shows, we made sure we caught the matinee shows. But I think if I was on early dining I would be rushing through dinner to catch the later ones. So I don't think there is a winning situation for either one.

That was one of Disney's downfalls. We are used to having it be. Early dinning show after, late dinning show after. It is just something new to get used to. That is why we would like to go again. Who knows. I was talking to Scott the few minutes we had together today and he seems to be convinced that there is someone that can watch Mac and make sure she gets to school everyday if we were to do it ourselves.

The sinceible side of me says we should not do another cruise for awhile. Since my mother's illness we have racked up alot of debt. I would like to get to the point of being able to put my monthly bills on Disney and racking in the points. But that card is maxed along with 3 other ones. We were so proud of ourselves before my mother every got sick we were down to just the disney card and it was only at half.

We need to pay off some cards, the van (which I still have 3 years on), the second mortgage, and get some things around the house like a microwave and table. I really don't want to have to charge those.

We always look forward to tax season because we get a nice return but it has gone to the cruise the last 3 years. So now this year it will go to DL. I am hoping not the whole thing though. I have not added up our expenses for that trip yet.

I do know that I already have one night of the hotel we want paid for. One night out of 6. Not to bad. We really don't want to charge any of that trip either.

I look at it this way. At least I don't have to buy clothes for the kids anytime soon. I bought them so much for the trip that I had to go buy extra hangers when we got home.

I need everyone to say a few prayers for us. I know it might not sound major but in our world it is.

Scott sent off the email before he left to work today to his ex. Stating that Kelsey will be staying with us. There are three ways this can go. Either she will just say fine and forget about it (not likely), she could say fine and act like she forgets about it, then turns around and takes us to court over it all, or she can go completly off the deep end and start more fights with us and take us to court.

I personally think it will be option 3.

He does not think she will get the email tonight because her and Kelsey are at a tea light party. And we are not sure when she starts her knew job. So it might be a few days.

Please keep your fingers crossed. We can not afford court again, and I personally can not take much more of her fighting all the time. Why can we not all get along like they did on REBA

I totally understand how you feel on this. We are working on the same things as you, and we will also be doing the same if you go on the cruise with getting an inside cabin, and it will be a budget cruise. But as hard as we all work we deserve a little break if we can do it.

Thank you very much. I feel for Scott. At least I can go to bed tonight and forget about it for awhile, but he is up all night at work and when it is slow there is has nothing better to do then think. Poor guy will be a mess when he gets home in the morning.

Because Steve had the first post on this thread and brought us all together, I think it only fitting that he start our reunion cruise thread when we're ready.

I try to think positive but that is when she hits us when we least expect it.

my goal right now is to plan DL as cheaply as possible and still have a good time.

We have planned on going for 5 days at the park just so we could take our time and relax. But now we were thinking of making it say 4 and then a day at the beach. Or if there is no price difference then doing 4 1/2 days at the park and 1/2 day at the beach.

It is just the three of us, I would like to get a room that has a fridge and micro (I think I might be able to do without the mirco. But I can save us money by having breakfast and lunch in the room and then only having to eat dinner out.

Just realize you have a few more friends now to help you hold that chin up. Stay strong, tell Scott I'm sending a bunch of positive thoughts along with a bit of pixie dust. Wish I could do more.
