October 20th 2007 Western Magic Part 9

Scott (1) here....Browns and Cardinals, boy who do I cheer for?

Paige, congrates on your coach staing on for another year.

We are glad he is staying in Baton Rouge. I really enjoyed watching him "whip-up" on the press right before the game.:rotfl:

Here's my village....I wish I had a big table like yours, Sistah Goose.:thumbsup2

Big, bless your heart, But of course, you sweet thing, you wouldn't know about a man who makes a commitment, but that's ok, I hear silicone keeps a person warm at night.:thumbsup2

they seem to keep underdog warm.:lmao:
but then he thinks they are real and they are spectacular!!!:rolleyes1

I guess I will take Scott's FO

I took pictures of our tree. I mentioned to Scott that after seeing everyone else's that our tree does not look all that great. He mentioned that with trees the less tree you see the better. Hmmm, I wonder why he waited 7 years to tell me this one. Him and I have all our childhood ortaments that could go on the tree so I might be adding some through the next few days. If I do I will post a new picture.

I still need to sew another bell on Mackenzie's and Kelsey needs to decorate hers. She got a new one last year to do but never did it.

I posted some more on the trip report.

You can tell, we were getting worn out from no sleep...our days were getting boring. :rotfl2: There are a lot of pics and a lot more to come.

Check it out :thumbsup2

I did not get much done today. I took 2 naps. The second nap really made me feel better. I spend some time outside with the neighbor and felt good then but as soon as I came back in the house I was freezing and could not warm up. Now the head is feeling pressure again. So I think I am just going to look at the adds in the paper and take a hot bath when the kids go to bed. Then it will be bed for me. I am hoping Mackenzie makes it through the night so I can send her to school and I can go to work.

Carrie,
It's a lovely tree. Here is a hint to fill up blank spaces that I use. Go out and get some of the faux poinsetta bushes, the larger ones. Take off the poinsetta from the stem and set it in a hole on the tree. When I get my tree done you will see what I mean. Also the small size stuffed animals work well too.

One year I had the kids make ornaments for my tree and their grandmas tree. What I did was take felt squares and traced around their hand like the mittens that are rounded, no fingers. Then I punched out holes around it with a hole punch and had them take yarn and sew them together. Then we took sparkly glue and put their names on them and the year. I know Kelsey and Kyle maybe to old to do it, but Mackenzie might have fun doing it.

That is a great idea I will have to do that with Mackenzie for x-mas gifts next year. This year we are just way to packed with trying to get things taken care of. But she would love to do that. Thanks for the idea

Everyone's trees and villages are beautiful! We finished our tree tonight. What an ordeal! The wind has picked up alot. Going up in the attic was noiser than the three boys put together!

Your tree is beautiful:goodvibes

The first time Mike came to my house. My dad walked into the house carrying a burlap sack. He dumped it out on the floor and 3 baby pigs fell out squeeling. (A friend of my dad's had a mother pig that died, so he gave the 13babies away so they wouldn't die and we helped bottle feed them) I was rather embarrassed. Mike sure wasn't used to this. I can only imagine the look on Mike's dad's face when he told him about those pigs.

So our families were very different too. ;)

If I remember right...his eyes got kinda big. He would never feed them. He likes animals, but isn't a lover like I am.

He was already hooked on me. He wasn't going anywhere at that point. :lmao: yeah, right.

already hooked on you.?:rolleyes1 pretty sure of yourself wernt you pop tart?
 ok, i was hooked on your personality.:rotfl2:
as far as the animal thing goes, i like animals, i just like to eat them more.
 :rotfl2:

for the first time in about 20 years, cinnamike is on afternoon shift this week.
 a guy i work with needed midnite because his dad is having surgery so i traded shifts with him.
2:30 to 10:30pm. so keep the pop tart out of trouble this week.
hmmm, i wonder if cinnamon is back from her tour yet.:rolleyes1
this would be a good week for us to catch up.:cool2:

finnished putting the place back together after watching hurricane addison this weekend.:cutie:
i told robin its like mary poppins, when the neighboring admiral shoots off that cannon and all the house keepers have a station to catch all the falling items.
when addison comes over robin and i move all the stuff she can get into and then when she leaves we move everything back. :cutie:

Good morning to anyone who may be out there....

I love seeing all the Christmas tree pics! We put ours up this weekend - I'll try to get pics posted tonight. Thomas was really into decorating the tree this year, so it was fun.

I posted my 3 lb. gain  on the KK loser board this morning...sigh...I guess I really need to start behaving myself again. We've also got plans to join the local YMCA - they're building this cool new aquatics center and I think it will be neat. Also, I can sign Thomas up for swim classes, soccer, or gymnastics. Plus, they've got some nice workout equipment for me, too.

I'm a single mom this week - Pete left this morning on a trip for work. So, I'll be kinda lonely this week.

Well, better go do some work - I'll pop in later!

Good morning everyone

I am feeling better then yesterday. My stomach is a little weird today but other then that I am feeling pretty good.

Mac made it through the night in her room   So the we are at 1. She is still full of energy but her cough sounds horrible. She has had no fever for over 24 hours, so off to school she goes. He nose is still playing tricks on us. One side is full of green gunk but the other side has nothing in it. So we will send her off to school and see if they send her home.

Ok, it is officially the first week of December.....I AM READY FOR '09 DATES!!!!

Anybody with me?:goodvibes
