We're baaaack.




Jeff: We almost weren't on that flight. They offered us two free flights to stay back but no offer of a hotel stay and transportation. We declined.

Cass: Glad to see you all got back on at CC. I also heard your names announced and thought we left our Canadians behind. Kristin wanted to stay behind herself and offered to go back to find you if need be.

Heather: I believe you were my most spotted DISser. Seems like we ran into each other often. We got to ride back with your boys to Budget last Saturday. Sure wish we had that van you guys got. The kids had room for 2 pieces of luggage in theirs. Good thing our car had an empty back seat.

Abby: Was that a pink croc by chance? We were on the tender where it was dropped off. And so sorry I missed meeting you until Pirate night!

Rose: Yes, Tony, Stacy and Jesse were all pulled up to participate in Diversions on Friday night. I can't seem to get your links to work though. Anyone else having problems?



A big thank you from all 6 of us for making this a cruise to remember. We all rebooked a bogus date in 08 to be moved to 09 sometime. Thanks to all of you who included my "Phantom DISer Children" in the tag game even though they didn't participate in the game or this thread much. All the DIStag gifts were amazing and creative!!!

did they over book it?

thats what they did to us and i was talking to someone at school who got back yesterday mid day from florida and he said he was suposed to come back sunday but they over booked that one too!

Do WI schools have teacher's convention the same time every year, or does it vary? Ijust realized if we plan for another cruise in '09 Thomas will be in school! (Wow, hard for me to believe...but that's a whole 'nother topic )

By the way, I thought it was funny that a Disney credit card offer was in my mail when I got home

Yes, teachers' convention in WI is the last Thur and Fri of October. WEAC has the dates on their website I think for the next 2 or 3 (maybe even 4) years.

That is good to know. I didn't know that they did a double dip every month. I liked that port best myself. hahaha

And you are referring to the Magic right? Doesn't the Wonder just do 3 and 4 days?

I don't think they are doing double dips this year, but in the years they do it, they have gone the last FULL week of the month. 10/24/09 will come back on 10/31/09, so if they do double dips in 2009, that week should be one.

Yes it would be the Magic.

The Wonder is doing 4 night Double Dips next summer. I'm sure those will be very popular and we'll see more of them in the future. They go CC-Nassau-CC.

The Magic will go CC-sea-Costa Maya, Mexico-Cozumel-sea-CC.

We got DS's school work all ahead of time. The teacher was great about it. It also helps that here in WI the schools were closed on Th and Fr last week.

He will miss 3 days for next year's repo cruise (begining of 3rd grade - first 3 days) and 3, maybe 4 for a cruise in Oct '09 - 4th grade (unless there is something special for August '09).

We got Hayden's work beforehand too but he had SO MUCH it was ridiculous. Gwynne had more than her usual too but she loves school and does well, so getting her homework done was a piece of cake. We're still making up Hayden's work from last week. Normally it would have all been due by Monday but he's on an IEP and in intervention classes so he has extended time.

One of the nights, Dave went to sit in the adult hot tub. He came back and said he was talking to some guy from Ohio who's daughter just graduated from OIP&T. I clued him in as to who that was!

no. karen was supposed to bring him a couple of times when i told her id have the shirt on, but she forgot him. oh well, i just wont wear the shirt again until kk2 and we will get a pic then.
