We had teacher conference today for Mac. She is doing well. The things we need to help her with is telling her to take her time, her writing and counting to 25. She is behind in counting. She can only count to 12 before getting confused. But once she passes 20 she is fine. She is ahead on the alphabet. So over all she is doing well.

The teacher said for us to work on her writing and counting while gone and the she is hoping to have homework for her before we leave. Sure now the teacher thinks of it. Oh well guess Mac will be doing home work on the plane.

So, do you all have to hold it now until you get to the airport on Friday? :confused3

Or are you running down the street to a store/restaurant to use the bathroom?

Wouldn't that be one of the last things you'd want to clean before you leave?

Yes I am doing things out of order. That is me. I have always done that. The kids bathroom will not really get used so I don't have to worry about it. They are clean enough for me to be happy with them when I get home.

But you know I do have both the older kids tomorrow night and Scott is working so maybe I should tell Kyle (he was not here while I cleaned today) that he has to go to Safeway to go to the bathroom. :lmao:

WOW - has the Caribbean cleared out where we're going. Didn't expect it to get that clear.

Here is the latest analysis from Intellicast:

There is an area of circulation in the south central Caribbean I thought might have turned into something, but it look like it is just moving a long and not doing anything - which is good because I think it could have affected us.

The highest wave reading I see is 1.2M, so about 4 feet. That is basically calm (I'm use to the 4-8 ft and 8-12 ft seas).

Water temps are 30.9C (88F) in Key West, around 29C (84F) in Grand Cayman, and the same in Cozumel. They don't have readings close in by Castaway, but should be similar this time of year.

Air temperatures are around 85+ in Key West, 88 in Grand Cayman, 86 in Cozumel and 84-88 in the Bahamas (Castaway Cay)

If this holds, we are looking at an AWESOME week. :cool1:

Thank you Jeff. I don't know what we would do without you.

Hey, look what I did as I pulled into my driveway today!

Time for a new car, I'd say.

That is nothing for cars in my family.

My parents have a 69 chevy malibu, 68 BMW, 05 Pilot, 2000 CRV. They had a 58 BMW, 76 accord, and an 80 wagon.

The 58 is now a show car in Nevada, and 76 is still driving around town. I see it every once in awhile, same for the 80.

As for us the 76 became my car. Then I got a 92 Civic, after some idiot decided to kill my civic I took my fathers 94 accord, and we have an 04 odyssey.

Hey everyone. The cheesecake is cooking, well it's almost done. I am exhausted today. I'm the only one in the office this week and it's been busy. Today my VP was asking for this and that, and stopped at one point and said "what am I going to do without you next week". Sweet sentiment, but I told her Lori (the clerk, and my bestest buddy) would be there. I'm ready for a break though.

meteor showers sound great. thanks jeff!

lori, are y'all on water restriction? i am seeing on the news that the cops have been handing out tickets to people watering their lawns in fredericksburg...

we have been to boggy creek on an air boat ride and we saw some crocs etc and today we went to cypress gardens i am sure thats not how its spelt!!!!! and tonight we have swam in our friends pool , had great food and some amazing local wine which we are going to the winnery to buy a case so maybe you would like to try a bottle with us one night?

Hi, Sean! How's the weather in Florida? Nice and hot?:thumbsup2

I am done with work. :cool1:  :cool1: :dance3: :cheer2:

2 more days. But tomorrow is a minimum day for the kids, so it will be a quiet afternoon (fingers crossed). Full day Thursday, and will probably be the longest day wait wise.
Taking DD to get our nails done tomorrow, might even splurge on the pedicure.

Or Honda! That's what I have....
They last a long time also.

I just wanted a new one so I could give my old one to Sean.
But it's not in the budget for years now.
Could have skipped the cruise.....:rotfl: HA HA HA.....NOT!

Way to go girl. We are strictly a honda family. We have had 3, and with my parents in that they have had 4.

3 days and counting and I am out of town tonight in VA Beach while DW holds down the fort. Looks like it has been a busy day on the boards.
DW is struggling to get the boys schoolwork done before we leave, don't think it is going to happen, I told her there is always the sunday after we get back. No schoolwork on the cruise!!!

Nite All.
