Late night October 17th!
He's got Thursday off to recuperate...adjust, jet lag......
Then he's got to carry mail on Friday
then we're off early Saturday morning!

Hope there's no glitch in this plan

Hi Rose, Not much time for the recuperating before heading back to work on Friday. Will he be OK for the trip??

i am pretty proud of her.
hope everyone gets a chance to meet my sweet tart.
she has had a stressful last 8 years and remains the most positive person i know.
saved my life several times thru my staph infection and subsequent heart surgery.
lost her job after 15 years as manager so they could bring someone in for half the price.
got her realtor licence and was the leading rookie agent in the area until DELPHI COMPANY filed bankruptcy and the local real estate market nose dived.
all this time raising 2 kids (ok i helped) and going to school part time at kent state to get her degree.:thumbsup2
not to mention the stress from her parents going into the nursing home.:sad1:
and of course there is putting up with my sick brand of humor for the last 32 years.
she is loving her new job in HR, workmans comp division.:thumbsup2
so thats my tribute to my sweet tart.  hope you all get to know her on the cruise.:grouphug:
hope i didnt bore everyone too much.
cinnamike.

Not boring at all Mike. We look forward to meeting you and the sweet tart as much as everyone else.

Very well said.

If only there were enough words to describe how much my minnie:cloud9: means to me. All that she has done for me and our family is a debt that I will never be able to repay. As you 2 celebrate your anniversary, look forward to the day we reach that milestone and more. What an inspiration.:grouphug:

Almost forgot, here is that link to show where the cruise ships are in the world.

Click on the Caribbean and you can zoom in to where the Magic is. It hasn't checked in since this morning, since it was in port today. It should update tomorrow morning showing them in Cozumel.

Jeff, what a great site. Thanks for the link. We forwarded it on to Carries Dad, and we know this will keep him busy from now until we sail.

You are correct, ma'am.

Getting so excited for it too! I am moving in fast motion trying to get things done and packed (like I don't have 9 more days to get it done) that I smashed my finger in the bathroom door today....it had been so long since I had uttered so many "colorful" words. Rob said, "You know you could just shout out anything and you would have the same result." I said, "But somehow it feels good when I say the curse words." When I was telling Emily about it, she was concerned that I "dropped the F-Bomb" (her words). I told her that I refrained from using that one. Note to self: Go to confession because of lying to DD.I was so mad at myself and it hurt like hell.....Now the base of my index finger's fingernail is blue.

No need for confession Paige. You did not lie, you just offered a different version of what happened to protect the innocent and keep them safe.:confused3 :rotfl:

I've been watching the weather systems for the last week or so. Anything that will effect us will most likely form in the Caribbean and could pop up last second (i.e. we leave Saturday and by the time we are to be in Grand Cayman on Tuesday, it could effect us).

What's happening now is a trough has moved down from the US and is stationed in a line from about Cancun through Puerto Rico. All the rain is just sitting on that line. There is another cluster of percipitation that is coming up over the eastern islands.

Curious to know how the current Western Cruise is doing. There is no "live from" report. I did see they made it to Grand Cayman today. I have a Cruise Ship tracker site I'll have to post in a little bit that shows you where the ships are.

It looks like they will have a wash out tomorrow in Cozumel. That low is still sitting right there bringing rain to the region. I thought it would have developed by now, but it looks like it has gone inland a little. Still will make for a wet day. Not sure how the seas will be for them.

For us, hopefully this trough will push back north before we sail.

The one good thing I found is the water temps. Those are in the mid to upper 80's. That will make for some good swimming.

Thanks for the info, Jeff. I'll be watching to see if the Magic makes it to CC. If seas are rough they might not get docked. I figure that if the next two stops there are sucessful then we have a good shot. That link to the cruise ship positions rocks!

:cool1:  :dance3: We are finally doing the doc dance. :cool1:  :dance3: I went through some of it with my parents at dinner but as soon as the food came I put it all away so it would not get dirty. I will try to read through some more of it tonight.

Yay! Congrats, guys!

We are sailing on the 20th too - me, my husband, and my four and a half year old son. We live in the Richmond, Virginia area. We are also taking my in-laws from Minnesota. This is our first Disney cruise and we are very excited. I realize it's late in the game to get to know you guys here, but I've been browsing the posts and it seems like a great group. Is anyone else taking 4 - 5 year old children?

Welcome Henry's Mom:dance3:

We interrupt your cruise planning for a Plankton update ...

Like many of us who are figure conscious, especially before a vacation, Sheldon J. Plankton has been working out all summer ... getting buff for all the towel floozies he expects to meet on board the Magic.

PA060006.jpg

And since this is his first cruise, Plankton has been growing ever more excited as the days tick down to October 20th. When I came home from work tonight I found him pretending that he was hanging out on a tropical beach somewhere far, far away from the armpit of the Midwest. He was trying to persuade our cat to make him a Conked Cooler.

My cat's breath smells like cat food. :rotfl2:

Thus ends (for now) Plankton's pre-vacation adventures. Please take good care of him while you're cruising and thanks again for offering to bring him along in the first place. :goodvibes

PS. Way to go, Cleveland - you knocked off the evil empire!!! :thumbsup2

Brenda is your cat Male or Female?,we have cat breath biscuits over here but they only work on pre-neutered male cats.....how old is your cat and does he still have his bits and bats?...:snooty:

Beautiful Liz! The colors you picked were so pretty and elegant looking.:goodvibes
