We are sailing on the 20th too - me, my husband, and my four and a half year old son. We live in the Richmond, Virginia area. We are also taking my in-laws from Minnesota. This is our first Disney cruise and we are very excited. I realize it's late in the game to get to know you guys here, but I've been browsing the posts and it seems like a great group. Is anyone else taking 4 - 5 year old children?

Hi Henry's mom. We live just north of Charlottesville. We are traveling with DD11 and DD4. It should be a great trip.

AFEG ... our cat is a man-cat but he's been fixed, oh for years now. I guess your cat-breath biscuits won't work on him.

I know people who have cat breath ... will those biscuits work on them?

Good Morning/Afternoon All!! Sorry about your finger Paige. Hope it feels better by the cruise. I only have 7 work days left!! We will be driving down on the 19th, in 9 days. And I haven't packed yet!!!

Getting so excited for it too! I am moving in fast motion trying to get things done and packed (like I don't have 9 more days to get it done) that I smashed my finger in the bathroom door today....it had been so long since I had uttered so many "colorful" words. Rob said, "You know you could just shout out anything and you would have the same result." I said, "But somehow it feels good when I say the curse words." When I was telling Emily about it, she was concerned that I "dropped the F-Bomb" (her words). I told her that I refrained from using that one. Note to self: Go to confession because of lying to DD.I was so mad at myself and it hurt like hell.....Now the base of my index finger's fingernail is blue.

Sistah P, we can compare fingers onboard. Mine is still "creased" from July 4th when I got it stuck in my dvd player.

Brenda is your cat Male or Female?,we have cat breath biscuits over here but they only work on pre-neutered male cats.....how old is your cat and does he still have his bits and bats?...

AFEG, I just saw something at the vet's office for Bits and Bats. It looked like a razor blade though.

Our travel agency is not in Port Canaveral and your's probably isn't either. Did you go through Dreams? Then I would probably list Orlando instead. (Just guessing though).

Cheryl, do you know what seats you have on MW? We have 10A and 10B.

Nancy we have seats 16C, 16E, 16F When I bought our tickets we were in row 3 or 4 and then when I checked our reservation a few months ago they had moved us I just tried checking our reservation again now and the Midwest site seems to be having some problems now so I will try and check again tomorrow.

It looks like your plane is completely full. The only open seats are the exit rows and the new "signature seating".

It was the "signature seating" that screwed you guys up. They took out the first few rows to put it in, causing your seats to disappear.

I'm glad AT let us select our seats (for a fee though) because the outbound plane is starting to fill up. Well, at least the seats available (not all of them) are being selected.

On the return flight though, we are the only ones who have selected seats. Sorry, don't want to roll the dice on seat assignments during check-in since I will be on the ship. More than happy to pay $5 per seat to get it assigned.

My house smells like Caribbean Jerk Chicken right now. I'm making tonights dinner early so all we have to do is warm it up. Is it wrong for me to eat chicken for breakfast? I don't think I can wait until tonight!!!

This ties into my last post to Brenda...

Remember how I asked if there were breath mints for dogs? Chuck left some peppermints on the kitchen counter and I just had to pry one of them out of Cabo's mouth! Ever try to wrestle something out of the mouth of a 80 lb lab??

Guess he was looking for the chicken himself and found the mints instead.

First off, what is an egg? Is it not an unborn chicken? So I think you're fine eating the chicken for breakfast.

Second, yes the seats can change a little, well, open up. It depends who will move to the exit row and if anyone goes to the signature seats. Depending on where those people come from, you could get seats closer up.
