I have to say it is still a pretty strange coincidence that you will have been both on 2 different cruises together in different years. What are the odds.
In '05 my in laws went with their other daughter, so this year they decided that after my wife's illness and the fact that it is her 40th that we should all go on a cruise together to celebrate. Sandy picked the date.

My in-laws are John and Sandy. They live in Alexandria VA.

They will be joining us at the Wine Tasting Monday and hopefully the meet and greet at 3: at the pool.

I barely even remember when/how I heard about the DIS. There could be some interesting stories out there in KK land. Anyone willing to share their experience?

I think I went onto an old site for the Disney Moderate resorts and put out the question as to how much a Disney cruise might cost. Someone over there directed me here.

Sorry that's not very interesting but true. Hopefully there are some better stories to be told.

As soon as I did a search for Disney on Yahoo in 1996 and found out there's DISNEY WEBSITES, I was SO hooked on the internet!! The big one back then was Lampwick's site. He did trip reports and pictures, it was SO AWESOME for a Disney fan who needed her Disney fix.

About a month after I found Lampwicks, I found the DIS. Back then it was only ONE page! It was a thread index with all the posts on one page with mostly people asking questions about their upcoming trips to WDW.

Ahem, it's changed a little since then!

I remember in 1999 the first day they started doing registration, I tried using "Cass" but they wouldn't let me since it had a bad word in it The rules have changed cus now there's a "Cass" out there. And she's Canadian to boot! Hence my choice of Timon, which is my fave character right after the big cheese

I've wasted...err spent a lot of hours on the DIS since then!

Encheladas (spelling ) A nice quick easy meal to make after work and we all love them. Just got back from the grocery store and now I remebered I forgot to buy more enchelada sauce to have on hand.

Just emailed all of Sean's teachers to let them know about the trip well in advance so that they might be able to send him off with work so he won't get behind.

We asked both of our son's teachers last week at open house about our vacation. Luckily, they both were excited for us and told us they don't believe in sending homework on vacations. They said they would just catch them up when we get back. Awesome!!!

Oooh that sounds delish! I made roast beef, one of my fave meals

Kira's been really picky lately when it comes to food. I think she would be happy if I served her cheese for all three meals everyday

But she enjoyed the roast beef

In the last week or so she has started to throw tantrums. I was hoping those weren't gonna start for another year or so. Guess I am dreaming huh?

I just googled Disney Cruise Info when I booked our first cruise and it gave me the link to WDW Info, the parent to this thread. I then clicked on the Message Boards. At that point, my life as I knew it was over.

Of course we did, I coached football practice and she took her grandmother to the grocery store. What more could you ask for after 14 years? Romance. Ha!
