Tropical Storm Melissa and the remnants of Tropical Storm Karen weakened early Sunday in the eastern Atlantic, forecasters said. Neither posed an immediate threat to land.

Now, banish all further storms for the year!

Whew! Good to know. All these storms seem to be named after our disers.

Does that mean the next one will be called...

No more storms... it's getting too close to our sail date.

Won't we have fun with that!

Hi everyone! I thought I'd put in our info, too, even though we won't be fortunate enough to be cruising with all of you. If you happen to see Jason or me wandering around (especially Epcot) with silly, tipsy smiles on our faces please stop and say hello. We're harmless and I'm half-blind so I might actually look right though you unless you "get up in my face."

This is probably my last post here - lots to do in the next two weeks before we leave and there's a lot going on outside of the house lately, too. It's been a pleasure being a part of this group since waaaaay back in June 2006 and I'm sorrier than you know at not being to able to meet so many of you and drink some others of you under the table (you know who you are!). You have our best and warmest wishes for a fabulous cruise - we look forward to seeing pictures and reading all about it once you're all back home.

Heather - I could have kicked myself - there were loads of hunky good looking men and I didnt take my camera I will be going back to Blizzard Beach this Oct though

I thought it was great! I thought it was odd that the server gets more than the stateroom person... I am not sure what all the server does before we get there but I know the stateroom person does soooo much. I also have not had a server team that we thought were all that personable... some of you have pics etc of yours. Ours did a good job. End of story.

I think the room person always deserves waaaay more than the servers. I know which job I'd choose...Hmmmm...let me see....amking beds, cleaning loos and sorting out and entire room or delivering a few plates of food.....Hmmmm...I'll take the server job please. Our room person always gets a good tip over and above the norm

Speaking of $$$$....Rob just picked up some US $$$ the other day and I am IMPRESSED!! You guys finally got smart and put some COLOUR in your money!! I remember one time down in FLorida we were talking to a couple who had never seen Canadian money and thought it was hilarious that all of our bills are different colour. I thought it was ridiculous that all the american bills were the same colour!!! You know how many times I almost shelled a one hundred dollar bill for a porter or room service staff???

It's not as coloured as our money but it's a HUGE improvement!!

Oh my god! - thats it! - I could not for the life of me figure out why they looked wierd when they arrived on Sat - its the color! Duh! I can sure be dumb at times

Second meal is on the stove top now. I am so excited that I got 2 meals cooked today. Better then the last 2 weeks. I think I might have Scott grill on Tuesday so that would take care of 3 nights this week.

Hi everyone. As Mike said, we're back. We had a good time.


We paid $$,$$$ for school and they can't spell her name correctly!!!

They did a slide show on a big screen of the student's portfolios starting with they're name.

They spelled our last name Dryer instead of Dyer. It was quiet in there and

Cassie said "out loud"... "Apparently I am now an appliance!" Everyone started laughing.

They, they actually spelled it wrong on Cassie's Photography Recognition Award. (At least they were consistant)

Dear Kk's

Last night our Godson, Spencer had a huge setback. His mom called us to get us to the hospital asap!

He had yet another surgery (his 6th) and now has pneumonia again, his temp was 105.1 and his heartrate was 168. We were told he is deteriorating fast.

My intention here is not to bring the thread down, only to get as many prayers for Spencer as I can. I promise this will be my last public post about his condition but will gladly answer any pm's.

Please please send him as many prayers as you can.

Cheryl: Yes, Kristin found a beautiful dress yesterday at Gurnee. No alterations needed!

Susan: Great pictures of the boys and their drums. Also, did I see a little Schnauzer in one of the pics? We had one for 13 years. He was such a sweet, sweet little boy. Too bad Cabo didn't pick up on any of his good boy qualities just yet.

Yup, crossed a whole bunch of stuff off my list today! Sadly I still have a lot of Dis Tag prezzies to do!! That'll be what I am doing the rest of the day/evening!

So, I got my hair "trimmed" last week.

OMG, I was SO mad She totally botched my hair! She gave me layers, I dinna want no stinkin' layers And it just looks horrible! So, because I don't want to look like a TOTAL dork on this trip I now have an appointment with my regular hair stylist for Wednesday and will now have to cut it short to get rid of those horrible layers

If my regular girl botches it, I may have to shave my head go bald

We got a bunch of stuff done too Cass. This morning we packed most of our stuff. I ironed some shirts just to get the major wrinkles out but will have to iron them again a little onboard. We aren't 100% done though either. We still have some last minute things to pack yet.

Dh says that bad thing is that when I crash at night I crash. I can be sitting at the computer and say I am going to bed. As soon as I am in bed, I am asleep within 10 minutes.

Me too!
I can get so wound up and moving around (even if I'm wandering around and not really getting anything done) that when I do sit down..... usually when we're going to watch a movie or one of our favorite tv shows, I'm asleep within minutes.
Fell asleep on our last cruise, so did Sean, while watching one of the Pirates movies in the theatre.
