hi to the tuna!!!
i usually shoot hoops in the mornings on sea days. before the crowds.
last cruise they had a free throw shooting contest on cc.
that kid must really be worried about beating this old man huh?
im in a cant lose situation. if i win i can trash talk. if i lose, i just grab my heart and fake an attack. (thats what i do when i play bb with our son)

Well my allotted time for the DIS this morning is up and I am nowhere near done getting caught up We are off to northern IL early this afternoon for my great-nieces birthday party and I still have to make the dip I need to take for that and wrap her gift. Hopefully I'll be able to get caught up here tonight.

Oh Brenda, you're singing my song now. This is a fav of mine, but quite pricey on the ship. Any idea where we could buy a bottle in Orlando/Kissimmee, outside of WDW?

I'm scratchin' my head right now Heather ... if you can find a place like World Market or a large discount liquor store I would think you could purchase it there. I will check with a couple of people here on the DIS who I'll be meeting up with on 10/20 for the Party for the Senseless at Epcot. They live in Florida and might have a better idea of which stores you could pick some up at.

I've never priced it at Epcot, but I'd guess they must mark it up at least 50% during the F&W festival.

I got a response for you, already Heather! I just seem to gravitate towards people who like alcohol.

The overwhelming suggestion is to try ABC Liquor - especially a larger one. One lady said since it's such a large chain in Florida that she wouldn't be surprised if there was one close to the port, if that's convenient for you.

I also found this:

From the WALT DISNEY WORLD SWAN and DOLPHIN turn left on Epcot Resorts Blvd. At the light, turn left on to Buena Vista Dr. Continue on Buena Vista Dr for about 3¼ miles the road will merge on to Hotel Plaza Blvd. Follow Hotel Plaza Boulevard to the third light. Turn left on to Apopka-Vineland Rd (SR535). At the next light turn right on to Palm Parkway. Vista Centre Shoppes will be on the right.


You might want to verify that it's still current, but if the information is correct then there is an ABC liquor store about 5 miles from the Epcot Resort Hotels area at WDW in this retail strip mall.

I even found their phone number: (407) 239-5422

Once you get settled in you could call and ask if they have it, then they could set a few bottles aside for you until you can come in to pick them up.

I have cute news

My little munchkin lost one of his front teeth (or toofer as cass calls them) at football training today. He looks really gappy

He had a mouthful of blood when it came out - looked rather like Count Dracula. - pity it wasnt halloween - would have saved me a fortune on a costume

So when you see him he'll be gappy.

Brenda - thank you so much for this info. I took your orginal advice and did some seraching on the www. Came up with the same result - ABC Fine Wines. Going to try the one at The Loop, as it looks like they stock this wine.

Thank you again and it's a shame that we won't be meeting up this time, but perhaps in the future...who knows!
