Wow Nancy...thats a lota luggage.

We have two large suitcases (size?), one garment bag, still to be packed, one wheeled backpack with meds and docs, etc and one backpack with camera's etc. Plus my purse/handbag and that's it. I'm hoping that we will create room for our return journey for essential purchases.

I have packed some extra foldaway duffle bags....just in case. And I do fancy the Disney sports bag..which I might purchase at the terminal.

Here in CA you'd just need an Rx for that suitcase.

You guys have a lot of funny laws out there Steve.

I don't think I could live in that state. It's bad enough living here in WI.

I need a state like Texas.

the one where we first walked onto the ship and they announce your name.
anyone with kids, i recommend using jeffs tip and have them introduce the kids name and their parents. is that how you did it jeff?
"ladies and gentlemen please welcome "insert kids name"and their parents the
"insert family name"
i think that would be so cool for a kid.
make them feel special.

cinnamike has decided he is taking off work friday.
i was to go in at 7 pm and get off at 3 am. sleep for 3 hrs, then get up and head to airport. then probably sleep walk thru friday.
i got to looking at the calendar and noticed that our actual 32 anniversary is thursday and i wouldnt get to see the sweet tart all day.
i havnt missed a day of work since last cruise 2 years ago and im saying heck with it, im taking robin out to dinner and we are going to see our ds his wife and addison before we leave.
so i only have 3 more work days,.just like sweet tart.

i think that is soooo cool. very classy.

at last look, robin has 3 large suitcases and a garment bag.

this is the first time we have flown before a cruise so packing was a little different.

So we are getting things together and we are wondering about the following:

2 way radios- do they work? Worth bringing?: Lost DH last year on CC am definately bringing them this year.

just make sure you turn them on.

true story. wdw xmas 2000. we had just finnished eating strawberry swirls.
we were eating them in the cosmic rays place.
now keep in mind it was the year i had my surgery and robin was still wayyy
over protective of me.
she got up to go to the restroom leaving cassie and i to wait. it was really crowded in there and people were waiting for tables so i told cassie lets get up and wait for mom by the restroom, leaving the table for others.
(im such a nice guy)
thats where i made my mistake. i forgot about the restrooms inside and mistakenly thought she went to the ones across from grand prix.
so we waited and waited and waited. cassie said, why dont you turn or the walkie talkie? no, we dont need them i said, theres probably just a long line in there.
after a longggg time we found her (or she found us)

i think she thought i went into cardiac arrest of something.
its pretty funny now but if i recall i may have got called an ##hole
all i remember is cassie ratting me out."i told him to turn it on"

as of last week i have 33 years in on my job.
except for the 4 months i was off for surgery, i dont think ive missed more than 10 days the whole time ive been there.

Yes, we do have a lot of odd laws. TX looks better to me all the time. Esp since the powers that be spanked the governator so badly he turned into the kindergarten cop. He's now embraced his Kennedy side.

- Maybe go to Hemingway House - is this any good for kids??
- walk to the Southern Most Point
- maybe go to Astro City Playground
- Back to Mallory Square for sunset

You could also try here (Arizona), we tend to have the same views Texas. Heck a person can carry a handgun in a holster any where they go, as long as the have a permit for it. Also anyone can conceal a handgun as long as they have a permit to conceal it (ie. purses, pockets, or glove compartments).

Pick some place good. And make sure that candy and/or cinnamon are not on the menu at least for one night

Oh by the way you will get a quick out of this, I saw a billboard on the way to work stating "Everything goes good with candy"
