The tip calculator calculates per day, but I did the math, and it's pretty close to the weekly amounts given by Carrie (give or take a buck or so for rounding)....then it even tells you how many of each bill you'd need...pretty cool!

everyone that has been to California Adventure. Can you please give me you honest opinion?

We went a couple of yeas ago when it had just opened and loved it.

It has a good feeling about it...and of course the Boardwalk fairground.

Missed a couple of rides which we intend to do next year. Tower of terror will hopefully be open..one of Ricks fav's and Soarin' which is mine. You can comfortably do it in day.

I was reading some of your trip thing... and noticed how many cruises you have been on. Wow oh wow... Did they do something special on the Halloween crusies? i see you have done 2 of them.

Hi Susan. Halloween was really special.

We did Trick or Treat with our DIS group, there was trick or treating arranged by DCL around the ship with lots of candy. A fancy dress parade and then in the evening, even though it was formal night, load of people dressed up in costume. If you get the chance...do it.

I thought it was great! I thought it was odd that the server gets more than the stateroom person... I am not sure what all the server does before we get there but I know the stateroom person does soooo much. I also have not had a server team that we thought were all that personable... some of you have pics etc of yours. Ours did a good job. End of story.

Well my family just told me they decided we were going to breakfast before church today so ...........I need to get ready.... I don't think they are ready for me to show up in jammies!! Enjoy your day everyone..... I'm excited now to get my dang tips ready. That should make me feel sad giving up more money but it doesn't. Besides.. if I take it out now... I won't notice it then.

We did get 100 one dollar bills marked with www.wheresgeorge.com and now we just have register them so we can see where they go after the cruise. (We will use them for tipping ....I have a feeling we'll need more too but that will be a good room service amount. Remember I am traveling with teen boys who are never full.

The smell of the drums drying are driving the dogs crazy. They keep trying to get up on the dining room table to get them. When we came home we still stunk of wet hide and they were sniffing us like crazy. Hopefully they will ease up as they dry more.

Hi everyone! I thought I'd put in our info, too, even though we won't be fortunate enough to be cruising with all of you. If you happen to see Jason or me wandering around (especially Epcot) with silly, tipsy smiles on our faces please stop and say hello. We're harmless and I'm half-blind so I might actually look right though you unless you "get up in my face."

This is probably my last post here - lots to do in the next two weeks before we leave and there's a lot going on outside of the house lately, too. It's been a pleasure being a part of this group since waaaaay back in June 2006 and I'm sorrier than you know at not being to able to meet so many of you and drink some others of you under the table (you know who you are!). You have our best and warmest wishes for a fabulous cruise - we look forward to seeing pictures and reading all about it once you're all back home.

Did Kristin find a dress? Rach didn't have any luck at Mayfair. I will have her try on the dress today again and see if I can do some altering or maybe I should take her to my sisters who is much better at sewing than I am.

Oh no , forgotten underware Well at least she flys in the day before the cruise starts so if she forgets it again she can go shopping

Ths sun is here this morning again which is good because we didn't get the lawn mowed yesterday, we have to do it today!

How did your packing go?

I believe the Dr's are giving him radiation treatments to kill the pain. Since I'm not a Dr. ....nor do I play one on television...I'm not sure if that makes sense to anyone. I'll have to turn that over to Steve or you to tell me. He is dying of lung cancer.

Kristin and Jesse went to Kenosha Outlet Mall today and are now at Gurnee. She is still looking for her formal dress. Did you guys find what you needed??

The cntkg1 team is doing some serious packing tonight. Not everything though. Luckily, we don't have the kids to worry about when it comes to packing. They're on their own.

Anyone willing to place a friendly bet on Kristin forgetting her underwear AGAIN??? She's famous for it. I do have a funny story to tell but I don't want to be sensored.

I'll check in later, I think Chuck is trying to take half my things out of the suitcase right now.

Wow... that doesn't seem like very much... is that daily? Help me someone...

Doesn't sound like much but it does add up. A family of four should budget a minimum of $305. If you didn't budget for that, you would find it a bit end of cruise expense. I sacked away about $500. so that I would have some leeway for tipping over the minimum if I thought someone deserved it. Plus as I began to add up last night. I have a lot of bell boys to tip. I think I underestimated that amount! Especially since I told Laura to use more not less luggage for this trip (I usually tell her the opposite.)

I thought it was $1.00

Here's one for you...

He will never sends anything back, but it's hard to mess up a hamburger. I swear that's all he ever orders. It's either hamburger, chicken, ham, or steak.

Mike and & went to dinner. He ordered a ham dinner with french fries. The ham came with green beans.

But, OMG, it was on the same plate!!!

The bean juice was running in to his french fries.
He tilted the plate to keep the juice off of his french fries until I finished my side of applesauce and then scraped them off in my bowl.

You should have seen me wolfing down the applesauce. "Hurry up, Hurry up!"
