Ok, for those of you who HAVEN'T OD'd on Kira pics yet....



Her Auntie Deb bought her a Disney Princess Chair yesterday...she was THRILLED!!! The funny thing is, she doesn't know how to sit in it yet

The only time she ever sits in a chair is when I put her there so it's been funny to watch her learn to sit

You can see her newest toofer...far right. Now she has her four bottom middle teeth and her top eye tooth.

A pretty princess chair for a beautiful princess. Great pics as always Cass. My DD always ask if there are new Kira pics, then when I show her it never fails she says, "she has the most beautiful eyes".

I noticed in the towel pic in the earlier thread that it looked like she was getting upper teeth too, are the coming through at the same time?

I have to share what DH said tonight. I was telling him about how I had talked to 2 moms with girls that have similar disablities that our DD has that she can meet on the cruise. He said: " That's really cool, I have to apologize I really thought that you were just involved in some silly blogging site, now I can see that it can really be beneficial."

Now do I think I can get him to post, probably not, but at least I proved to him that the DIS can be a great place to meet people.

On the ship do they have powdered creamer or half and half?

What about artificial sweetners? Which brand?

Susan - at the beverage station they have fresh milk in the large dispensers and I think they have sweet'n'low and splenda.

Hi -- my husband, daughter and myself will also be on the October 20th Cruise. My daughter Rachel, who is 18, is also learning disabled and in maturity is probably about 13-15 years old. Maybe our girls can get together. Disney has already okayed for her to participate in the Teen Club and Teen activities even though she is 18. I'm not sure if she will want to actually participate, but she might if she meets some friends. She is also very excited about the cruise.

Same as a Sea urchin sting. I learned that the hard way. Limping out of the ocean in Oahu I encountered a number of Hawaiians telling me to urinate on myself. Frustrated I asked one of them if they just stand about on the beach waiting for wounded tourists to see if they can get them to pee on themselves. I ended having my ex-wife dig those quills out of my foot with a needle and rubbing alcohol. OUCH!
