October 20th 2007 Western Magic Part 7

Hi -- my husband, daughter and myself will also be on the October 20th Cruise. My daughter Rachel, who is 18, is also learning disabled and in maturity is probably about 13-15 years old. Maybe our girls can get together. Disney has already okayed for her to participate in the Teen Club and Teen activities even though she is 18. I'm not sure if she will want to actually participate, but she might if she meets some friends. She is also very excited about the cruise.

That is so totally GREAT....i have been nervous that Vanessa would not find anyone that she could connect with....she has trouble with "normal" kids as many dont have patience for her "differences". She would be much better off if she met a couple of nice girls that she could hang out with rather than trying to integrate into a large group of teenagers.

I believe many of the people that are on the DIS board are meeting at 3pm on Saturday afternoon - I think by the Adult Pool.

Can someone confirm the DIS meet time and place again???

Thats a good idea - we should pull a list with everyone's leaving dates so we know when people will be dropping off the site. I think what we do is copy the list into the next email and each person adds their info.

we are actually heading to dayton friday morning. cassie graduates from
OIPT friday and we are leaving at 3 am so we can get there in time for graduation.(at 10) we will be spending the nite and heading back north sat afternoon.

Same as a Sea urchin sting. I learned that the hard way. Limping out of the ocean in Oahu I encountered a number of Hawaiians telling me to urinate on myself. Fustrated I asked one of them if they just stand about on the beach waiting for wounded tourists to see if they can get them to pee on themselves. I ended having my ex-wife dig those quills out of my foot with a needle and rubbing alchohol. OUCH!
