It makes you feel like you're there, doesn't it? Where's some of that sunscreen y'all were discussing earlier?

I left the sunscreen over on the argie-bargie.

Besides ... I hate coming home from vacation without some kind of tan. I know it's bad, but I'm a product of the 80s when we covered ourselves in baby oil and baked in the backyard all afternoon.

So we use some sunscreen, but not so much that we don't get some color.

Yes, but it won't conflict.

I you are on early dining, you will have breakfast at 8:00. Late breakfast is at 9:30. Either way, you would be out of there in time to do 10:30 or 11:00 brunch in Palo.

Just remember not to eat anything. Just have something to drink and take pictures.

The wine tasting is set up for Oct 22 at 11am in Sessions.
There will be no charge for the 7 "drivers" and $12 per person for the 40 "winos"....oops ...I mean wine drinkers.

I got this letter from Dorothy today. As promised one month from cruise date.

I understand a few of you pulled out last month when we thought we had too many, but it looks like no one has to anymore. Please let me know if you still want out. I will email her with a final count this weekend.

I will not be attending myself anymore, but will get the information for Paige and Lynn who were gracious enough to assist me with this. A very special thank you from me to you two.

I will post a messge on Yahoo too.

Evening everyone,

Thanks to all for the kind words about my dog. We had her surgical consultation today, felt the surgeon really knew about this kind of thing. It'll will be a while before we know more, so it's just a waiting game now. Surgery to remove the tumor is on Monday.
Keep us posted, my animals are my family also...Steve - like the new avatar. I've got "Bear Necessities" ringing through my head!

Cass - tried to watch the Planky video, but the link doesn't seem to be working.

I've been reading some other threads about how much later cruise documents are being received. Some people aren't getting them until 7-10 days before the sailing! How will that affect those of you that are going to Orlando earlier than that?

You don't need an AAA membership to get into the AAA office. Plus, their travel agents help anyone, even non-members.

Just like the insurance side, they'll take money from anyone.

Really, just to see an agent they ask for our card and scan it. We went in one time when we forgot our cards and they said we would have to come back when we had them. This just makes me mader.

It's been great! But I haven't been able to have that glass of wine I wanted. I have to drive to Emily's friend's house later to pick her up. Oh well...I'll still make margaritas if y'all are still coming over.

Is this her first year of HS?? Is Derek getting excited, I think he is close to the same age as Bryce. I know my kids are getting antsy

Yes she is a Freshman, and doing well. She is active in Cross Country and JROTC. Derek is excited to cruise. He is 11, almost 12--6th grade. My kids get excited when I talk about plans for the cruise, but day-to-day, I don't think they think about it. Since it is Emily's first year of HS and Derek's first year of middle school, they are still running around like chickens with their heads cut off! alex actually talks about it more than they do, but he doesn't have the school stress they have. He's only in 2nd grade.
