I would love to cruise again Oct. 2009 but Rachel will be a Sophmore in high school then and we might actually be doing an all-inclusive vacation in Jan. or Feb of 2010 so she wouldn't be able to miss school twice that school year, I am concerned about her missing at all for a vaction in high school but the all-inclusive vacation would be a trip with extended family that we have been trying to do for years no
Also Al says no more Disney cruises until we try another cruise line. :sad1: :sad1: We were supposed to have tried another cruiseline a few cruises ago but somehow Lynn and I keep sneaking these Disney cruises in on Al and Chris so they don't know what hits them until it is too late :lmao:

No Disney trip for us in 2008 because we are planning a driving trip out east for next June. We are thinking of Philadelphia, New York, Boston, Rochester, NY to visit Lynn and Chris, Niagra Falls and maybe Toronto all in 2 weeks.

We're already feeling guilty pulling DS out of school now and he's only in 2nd grade. Not sure if we'll do it after 5th.

I want to try other lines, but Suz wants DCL. I was actually just looking at Norwegian this morning. The Spirit is suppose to have the next best kids club to DCL. They have a 7 night out of New Orleans to Cozumel, I think Guatamala, Belize, and Costa Maya, with 2 days at sea. The rates for a suite are cheaper than a DCL balcony.

I would also like to do one of the ones to Bermuda (I think they leave New Jersey and Charleston, SC).

A southern cruise out of Puerto Rico would be good too.

Just have to get Suz on one of the other lines so she can experience it before we can make the switch. As DS gets older, I'm sure he'll want the other lines (i.e. RCCL).

I'll just have to pic an itin that DCL doesn't do (such as the Bermuda one). Then I could get her to go.

Do I see a future Disney wedding in the works

This is Shane and Julia being partners during the water balloon games.

How awful to witness this twice. I work with a woman whos ex-husband was in a motorcycle accident in July, no helmet, multiple injuries including brain injuries. Many, many, many surgeries since and he is still in the ICU. It is very, very sad. They have a 10 year old son and he still hasn't seen his dad since this happened.

So wasn't it just a few months ago when I told you all the story of the motorcycle accident we witnessed where the man died?

Last night, Chuck and I witnessed yet another one! We were the second car up on the accident. A kid was driving one of those Crotch Rockets (without a helmet) and slammed into the side of a huge pickup truck. Again, a girl ran out of the first car with a medical bag in hand. Same senario as the first accident. I ran over to see if there was anything I could do too. Poor kid's head was just gushing blood. It was actually running down the street. He was breathing but not conscious. The only differences in this story was there was no "Flight for Life" called (probably because there was no room for a helicopter to land there) and we detected the smell of alcohol. I don't know if this kid will make it either. He was horribly hurt. The accident happened about 2 blocks from SIL/BIL's house and Chuck's brother rides a bike too. Of course, that's the first thing that goes through your mind.

We also don't know if the kid or the man in the truck were the drinkers or maybe even the chick who stopped to help with the medical bag.:confused3

WEAR YOUR DARN HELMETS PEOPLE!!!!:sad1:

Rachel is planning on getting hers braided again too. She says I should get mine done too but I just don't know how it would look. If I would do it I would want to wait until after formal night and pictures but then there is also semi-formal night on Thur. and more pictures :confused3

Who is thinking about getting their hair done? Alex wants to again and Julia says she does too.

Off to the doc I go :wave2: I will catch up with you guys later.

Karen when you go to Kennedy Space Center make sure you ride their new Shuttle Launch Experience ride. We rode it in June and it was awesome. We liked it better than Mission Space and none of s got sick from riding it!

I have rejigged the itinary and we're doing just that - staying by the pool and doing a bit of shopping before mnsshp:thumbsup2

On other days we will do a water park in the morning then Epcot and illuminations that afternoon/evening.

I have never had to cram so much into such a short time.:scared:

We're also buying Seaworld and Kennedy too for other days

I was hoping to get it all sorted today but I'm still scouring the internet with itinary in hand:rolleyes:

Oops just read you might not go to Kennedy this trip afterall. Well make sure to do this whenever you do there next!
