Not a Disney Pic, but I just wanted to share this one with you all. Kristin is on the right with Tony right next to her. Then guess who the other little boy is? If you guessed her boyfriend Jesse, you are right. Jesse and Tony have been best friends since Kindgergarten and now it looks as if Jesse will be a new son for me soon. (At least they are talking about marriage...probably more than Tony & Stacy are).

By looking at this picture, I guess it was just meant to be.

TOO SWEET!

No HOH tonight on BB.

They will reveal it on Sunday night's show, so we'll have to get it from Morty's tomorrow.

I grew up in Southern California and lived with my mother who worked very hard at a time when single parenting was not a common thing. So money was scarse mostly.

One night I had a dream about this place. It was like a town and so colorful and clean and everyone was smiling. I was carrying a balloon and licking an all-day sucker. There were 4 other children there, which was very odd since I was an only child.

Two days later I turned 7 years old. The morning of my birthday my mother's boss and his wife and kids came and picked me up. My mother's eyes were filled with tears and I wasn't sure what was going on. I think I was a bit scared that i woudln't see her again. But we drove and drove and I got to know the kids as they were close in age.

We pulled into a parking lot and I realized it was Disneyland. I had never been but had of course heard of it. They bought us tickets (they had the color coded A B C D E ones then) and we went inside.

You can imagine my confusion as I was walking down the streets that I had dreamed about just days earlier. It wasn't until we were leaving later that night and I was carrying the balloon and eating the sucker that I realized that this was exactly the point that I remembered. Deja Vu.

That family did something special for me each year after that. They sort of adopted me I guess. I even spent summer vacations with them.

that is one great story - good for people like that - i bet they have been paid back 100 times over is goodness to them

I love that story

Great--we saw so much. Pretty much walked our feet off!! Guess what we saw??? We saw the "Bodies" exhibit!!! :thumbsup2 I didn't even know it was a possibility, but the hotel gave us a magazine about what was happening around town and I opened it up and there were the cadavers looking back at me!! I told my husband "We HAVE to go that--we were just talking about it on our cruise thread!!!" It was amazing--my DH said you have to believe in a supreme being after seeing how amazing the human body is--what an incredible exhibit. Two thumbs up from my family!! :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

Wow! Cool!
what a coincedence.

I can't wait to go see it too!

How is your Mom doing Carrie?

She is doing much better, thanks for asking. She had her radition treatment 4 weeks ago. She is doing so much better since then. It took about 2 weeks for her to notice any changes. But her weight is holding even now for 3 weeks. She is gradually getting more energy. She said last night that she is actually feeling like she might be able to get on the ship. She is talking on the phone with me for 20 to 30 minutes at a time. She has vac the bathrooms. She has been told she can not vac carpet for 6 months from the surgery, but she is sweep and moping and running erronds on her own now. It is almost like nothing every happened. She does still have some slight memory problems but that is improving also.

Kinda more like cheapness. :lmao: Couldn't bear spending $250-$500 for a real one. I do like tackling a problem with a bit of ingenuity and duct tape (yes, I did use some)

Cass, loved your photos too and the captions you come up with for them:rotfl:

Rented Fracture last night with Bob

:thumbsup2 Good recommendation!

Unfortunately I've promised my son I'd take him to see Balls of Fury tomorrow......

dreading that one:headache:
