This is weird posting from my laptop. Not sure why...just different.

Save your one dollar bills for a few weeks before your cruise. This stockpile will come in very handy for room service tips onboard, not to mention tipping the luggage porter, transportation driver, and excursion guides. Having these dollar bills also saves money because you won’t be forced to tip more for the lack of small bills.

Great ideas... I also got the countdown clock... it is zooming away towards my wonderful week as I type.

TIP:

Get Free Iced Coffee Drinks $
The beverage station on deck 9 offers enough ingredients for you to make your own iced coffee drinks. Try putting half coffee, 1/4 milk, and 1/4 ice in a cup and shake gently. Like iced mocha coffee? Make a cup of hot chocolate with the provided packets and pour it into two cups half-filled with coffee, then add milk and ice. The hot chocolate packets work well with hot coffee, too—just dump a packet of hot chocolate into a cup and fill it up with coffee for some great-tasting mocha!

I never thought of that.... I'll share that with Mary...she is a coffee girl.

WHO SAID THIS???

My lights always on, but theres seldom anyone home :crazy2: :crazy2: :crazy2:

Just coming on for a little bit now that I FINALLY got the grass cut (takes forever when it rains for a week). Had to double cut. Plus I bag, so I had probably 20 bags or more to take to the dump.

Be back in a bit. Going to read what I've missed.

BTW, good job to everyone to keep the thread moving today. We didn't make huge gains on the next group, but we have it down to about 320. It was 350+ last night or this morning, so I think we can get them.

My goal was by Labor Day. Think we can do it?

TIP!

LETS DO THIS ONE!

Order Pitchers and Save $
Rockin Bar D aboard the Magic offers tropical drinks by the pitcher. From the response I received when I wrote about this in my trip report (from our 8/23/03 cruise) this is not widely known. I do not remember all the choices, but for about $10 per pitcher you can get Mudslide, Pina Colada, and some others. The pitcher fills about 4–5 glasses and is a lower-priced choice if two or more are ordering the same drink. Rockin Bar D aboard the Magic was the only bar that offered pitchers of frozen drinks. I cannot say whether these are available onboard the Wonder — ask your server.

:lmao:

The author of that one doesn't know our group.

I could do the whole pitcher myself if we're there an hour (maybe less). I usually have two frozen margaritas down in about 10 minutes (providing they don't give me a tiny straw or I get brain freeze). :headache:

TIP:

Spot Dolphins
Your best bet for spotting dolphins is just as you’re sailing out of Port Canaveral. Go up to deck 10, near the front but not all the way, and look over the port or starboard side. If dolphins are present, you’ll see them swimming near the bow.

Actually we had them jumping right outside our window while we were pulling into Key West. We had a Cat 9, Deck 2 room and we could see them right outside our window. Very cool. I can't remember if we got any picks. I'll look tonight.

Oh well I am off and running.... I came thinking I could read quickly and catch up with all the posts...but no... I cannot at this moment in time... So I will be back tomorrow and try again. hahahahaha Enjoy your day everyone.

Just heard/saw on the news that they have one landscaper who is going around and spray painting the dead and dying brown grass green. About 350.00 for 1/2 acre of land.

That is so cool... I think we were early dinner the first cruise so we were pulling out when we were at dinner. Made my oldest son a tad bit motion sick.

I'm going to try to find a passporter. Can you get it at a regular book store?

Ok. My dogs are staring at me like I am an alien and not "hearing" that they want to play. So I am off.

But first, a new page or a chance to ruin Jeff's FO.... Which will it be?

I must say it would have been much more fun to ruin his FO

It was the morning, so we were pulling in.

Which brings up a tip from me. Cell phones will work from about 11:00 or so while we're pulling in. So if you want to call someone back on the mainland while we're still at sea, here's your chance. Plus, you won't waste any of your onshore time. :thumbsup2
