Off to make my crab dip. i have an hour and half before Scott gets up. I told him I would cut his hair before we leave for the party and he wants to go shopping on the way over there and I want to stop by moms so we will probably be leaving around 2:00. Better get hoping on that dip.

TIP:

Spot Dolphins
Your best bet for spotting dolphins is just as you’re sailing out of Port Canaveral. Go up to deck 10, near the front but not all the way, and look over the port or starboard side. If dolphins are present, you’ll see them swimming near the bow.

Ok, by now, our towncar is dropping us off at the cruise ship terminal.
Bob is getting his first glance at a cruise ship up close....
and I'm telling him that this is THE BEST of cruise lines! DISNEY!

This is a great pic. A coupe times we taken the Cruiselilne bus, very fun to watch first timers reations when they see the ship. I still love seeing it.

I just signed up with my web hosting company and got my domain name. But now they said it would take 48 hours to process my application so I can not post a website for 48 hours at least. Nothing ever moves on the time frame I want it to. Oh well as long as I have all the basics done by the time the cruise hits. I want to be able to start working as soon as we get back.

Good Job! Hopefully you are better than I at HTML. I really am bad. I like to rely on programs like MS Publisher, but they are not playing nice w/ 1&1 so I am having to do some work arounds until I get a system right.

UPDATE:

All US KK Bracelets that I had addresses for are in today's mail. Hopefully you will be seeing them by the middle of the week.

For the WI KKers, I'm planning on passing them out at the next WI DIS Meet. It is looking like September 9th may be the best day.

For the UK (Heather and Karen) and Canada (Jessalynn), I have to run to the post office with them. Need to do customs forms. They will be out in a couple days.

Anyone who has not PM'd me their address but would like them, please send me a PM.

Here's another chapter in MS Vista hell.

I just spent 3 hours on the phone with a tech, doing what seemed to be the same things over and over again. We even got a new product key and that would not work. Vista works but in a crippled passive-aggressive sort of way. Did I mention that I hate this OS? I have an Appointment with another team to troubleshoot my problem tomorrow. Tonight I'm going to be backing up all my important data and Installing mission critical programs on XP. I'll not be using Vista anymore if I can help it. My guess is that I will need to nuke my current installation and do a fresh install.

Eeorye here: I don't think they can. I'll just sit here by my computer robotically following commands and seeing the same results. Oh well. It could be worse. I could have lost my tail too. What? Oh drat. My tail seems to be missing.

What does this mean?

Have you ever heard of a secret shopper or mystery shopper? I will be doing things similar to them but offering more services. I will write up a free of cost review to the establishment and then offer suggestions on things that need to be improved or changed. Kind of like pros and cons of the place. At that point it will be up to them if they want to hire me to help them make the changes. Then my services will be specialized for what ever improvments they need.

I have designed it in word which transfered it all to HTML for me. I will have to preview to see what it looks like but that was the easiest way for me. I know HTML but it has been years since I designed my last website and that was for a school project. I designed mine and my mothers because we were in the same class.

That sounds cool. I don't know MS word well enough to make something look that good. My wife does but then again she has no prob with HTML. I work with the Publisher program because it is drag and drop. But I cannot get it to upload to 1&1 so I will be probably using Publisher to design, then use a FTP program to updoad. Not a perfect solution, but I should be able to do what I want to do with my website. The 1&1 Tools are somewhat limiting.
Of course all that will need to wait until I transfer back to XP
