Now, if I could just convince boyfriend Bob of that.
Somehow he thinks we have to have mostly everything in common to be a compatible couple

but my best male friend is a lawyer for the IRS... a tax attorney and he's liberal.

I told him he's in the wrong profession.

Anyway, I've just sent him off on his own to drive to Burger King to get us some lunch.

Actually, my stance on the cats is I don't mind them. Would I go out and get one, probably not. I actually don't have any pets. Although, we owe DS a fish because he didn't lose anything at camp this summer.

And I don't like wine (only time I drink it is a sip at communion).

Guess this marriage is doomed.

As for Bob wanting to have everything in common, if that's the case, he might as well marry yourself then.

I think it was months before my parents let me out with the car on my own after getting my license.

I'm sure Suz won't let DS go out on his own until he's 18.

Can't hardly go through that much college (in the mostly liberal collegiate atmosphere) and come out conservative. Takes a lot to withstand that type of indoctrination. (Now hopefully I don't need flame retardant clothing)

Yep I think that it is very true for me. I rely on my brother for advice. He's the real brains in our family when it comes to money.
