Ok, got a big question for you all....

Need some advice...................

This weekend Bob and I were supposed to go see Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Philadelphia Eagles in Pittsburgh.
Bob's favorite team are the Steelers.

He was so excited and his sister lives there so we'd be driving there with a couple of Bob's friends and his stepdad and then all hanging out for a day before the game then going early to Heinz Stadium and doing a tailgate party before the game and then driving home on Monday.

Well, after it was all planned and he bought the tickets, his boss told him that his vacation time was DENIED for Monday, so he couldn't go.

He is SO dissappointed.

I said we'd go another time.

He said..... " don't you know that the season tickets are so much more expensive and they're already sold out!?"

Well, I checked into it!

They're not sold out and they aren't too outrageous.... perhaps $100-$150 a piece.

Anyway, Bob's birthday is in November, on the 13th. There are 2 games in Pittsburgh with the Steelers then.

One is the Steelers vs. the Cleveland Browns
it is on Sunday 11/11 at 1pm at Heinz Stadium.

The other is Steelers vs. the Miami Dolphins
it is on Monday 11/26 at 8:30 pm also at Heinz Stadium.

I'm thinking of buying tickets for his birthday to one of these games.
Which one would be better and why?

Please give me your opinions because:

I really never, ever watch football and have no clue!

Thanks!

Ah, Key West Day,
I've met Jeff and Suz at Palo for brunch before we head out.

What a great picture. The way our bruch reservation is now we will be doing bruch on the Key Weat day. We were hoping to change it to Monday the sailing day. How did that workout? Did you have time to walk around after?

Well, this is a tough question.

I hate to say it, but we're Browns fans.

I'd like to say the Steelers will probably win if you go to the Brown's/Steelers game. It's a big rivalry!!!! It usually is a pretty good game.

(Mike is now going to disown me.  )

As far as the Dolphins... don't know how they're going to be this year.

heres a question for you guys. does anyone else save those coke rewards?
we dont buy much pop but a guy i work with sells pop and he was throwing them away so i started getting them from him a while ago.
so far ive gotten 3 shirts, a couple hats, golf balls, an adidas bag, a basketball and a back pack. all for free. just for entering codes on the computer.
just wondering if anyone else was doing it?

We don't what are they on, cans or bottles. We have a 12 pack of cans right now.

I'm going to have to have Mike log in all the time under Big Red so we don't have to identity ourselves all the time. Or maybe I'll sign on as...

"Saint Robin" :lmao:

Saint Robin?

Hi
I wasjust in our Disney store. There was a complete Pirate costume.Very nicely done. If you can wait another couple of weeks when the Halloween costumes come out there will be plenty of pirate stuff.
Lynn

We just got a catalogue from the Disney Store and the costumes are looking good. Leah is wanting a Cinderella costume. And Stuart liked the Jack Sparrow costume but still wants a Capt. Hook costume. I haven't seen those yet.

Ah, Key West Day,
I've met Jeff and Suz at Palo for brunch before we head out.

Oh my!

Or maybe...

Tart Annihilator! Yeah, I like that one! :rotfl2:

There you go. That's the one!:rotfl: :rotfl2: :rotfl: :rotfl2:

Now that's what I talkin' about!

Steve I love all the pictures of your trip. It looks like you had a real good time. Dh and I need to start taking more day trips.

He is really into history. But no one else in the family is so it is hard for us to find things to do.

Hello All,

I wanted to jump in and say hello to everyone. I'm Laura, Steve's wife and I am really beginning to get excited for our cruise. Steve talks so much about everyone on here that I started feeling left out so of course I had to get to know you for myself. Thank you for sharing your photos and previous cruise experiences with us.

I Laura. I'm Lynn. I usually lurk. I am finding it harder and harder to do that . So many nice people.

Everything looks so good. I half to admit I am really looking forward to the food:earsboy:

Janices chicken pot pie just isnt gonna taste the same tonight.....

Mark

Tonight, the APL diners will be in Parrot Cay.

Here is the Baked Crab Martinique:

The Spiced Island Chicken Wings:

My own creation of the Mixed Grill, including the Tenderloin, the Lamb Chop and the Ribs. Man that was good. See, they will mix and match at your request:

The Grilled Rib Eye:

And for dessert, the Lemon Meringue Pie:

And this is why you want to get on the ship early if you have kids:

An empty Mickey Pool. :woohoo:

So is the pool salt water or chlorine? All the other ships that we have been on are required to drain the pool when they are leaving and entering ports, so they have all been salt water.

Lynn

that's when we want to do brunch. I think that if you do Brunch on KW day you will have time, because the ship stays in port late that day.

I usually do the Pepsi ones. but I should do the coke. The pepsi is just a contest that I rarely win. The coke rewards I would definately get stuff because I down soda like no tommorrow!

Thanks. I like the short day trips. But I have a tough time with finding time. If I only have one day off then I really just want to relax. History is a big passion of mine. After the Schoolhouse we went on a stroll through the nearby cemetary. that was simply awesome.

Yep that's my wife, the FO stealer!

I think that they are freshwater. I seem to remember reading that somewhere.

We don't what are they on, cans or bottles. We have a 12 pack of cans right now.

There's a part on the box that you rip off and in the lids of the bottles. They have a code that you have to type in on the coke website. Look on the box, you should see it. It says my coke rewards. The code is on the inside of it.

Saint Robin?

Afeg called me that when I was taking care of my parents. It doesn't fit. I sound like a goody goody.

There you go. That's the one!:rotfl: :rotfl2: :rotfl: :rotfl2:

I like it, too. I can kick some "Cinnamon butt" with that. :rotfl2: :rotfl2:
Mike's sleeping now. Wait till he see it. :lmao: :lmao:
 Okay, here goes.
