It is raining today. Started at about 3:30 this morning with thunder and lighting. It is supposed to be this way all weekend. We will see. The party is normally inside and outside so we will see how this goes.

We are having family arguments about whether we should buy WDW tickets when we are only going to be there for 2 days. I think we should pass this year because the raised prices are so expensive for one day. But my husband really wants to go into EPCOT this year. Disney has made it so hard for a family to afford a day at Disney. It would cost us $400 for one day.

Help me decide

Judy:confused3

We bought the full 10-day, park hopping, no expiration, with waterpark and more option. Had them paid for before the price increase (got lucky). I would go for the full shootin match on them. It is not like you'll not use them.

It brings the per day cost on the Park portion to around $40. Then you have 10 days of waterparks, Disney Quest, Pleasure Island, and I think mini-golf on top of that for free (or just look at a lower per day park ticket).

They will only go up next year. I think this years increase was around 10%. Not a bad return on your money if you go every year.

Just my thought.

I tried the Miller Chill. Now I'm not a beer drinker, so my opinion means nothing, but I couldn't tell the difference between that and regular Miller Lite. I could NOT taste the Lime or Salt.

Do have to say that Miller hit a home-run with that one. I don't think they knew it would be that big. I'll bet Bud has a similar product by next summer. If so, then you know this was huge.

Wow, a guy that's not a beer drinker.... no way!!
Sure now you'll tell me that you don't like sports either and that you LOVE
cats!

Sure, cmon now Jeff:rotfl:

Hello eveyone, im back on as ME !!!!:cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

Its taken time and lots of fustration 9 and a few choice words) as I had to try and get my password from the DIS, which is harder than it seems ( I had myself set up as automatically signed on, on my fav at home so it was easy to do )

Anyway im here, sure ive missed loads, will try and catch up, but only get an hours internet connection a day from the libary, which is better than nothing, but trying to keep an eye on Elouise while I type is tricky and the libary is very busy and full. Once she goes to school it will be easier.

HI LINDA! So glad to hear from you!:flower3:

I ran out of wedding and honeymoon pictures to post. I will have to see what I can find to post next.

O, forgot about that one. (Bob's had one also. But he does like beer and sports, but not too much, and he likes wine and froo froo drinks too)

What a cool.... UN-guy!

Now tell me how you really love cats too.... c'mon!

Ok, it's just after 11:30 am October 20th.
Sean, Bob and I have landed at MCO airport and have found our towncar driver and are headed down to Port Canaveral.

Everything went smoothly, (HA, HA, because Sean and Bob didn't speak to each other all the way down from NY!)

TIP:

Pack a clear shoe organizer to hang over the bathroom door in your stateroom. The pockets can be used to organize everyone’s bathroom supplies (to keep the bathroom a little less cluttered) as well as all those things you put down and can’t seem to find as you are heading out the door. [Editor’s Note: You may want to bring two—one to hang in your bathroom for toiletries and one to hang in your closet for shoes.]

TIP:

Pack your clothing in one- and two-gallon Ziploc bags, making sure to squeeze all the air out before you seal them. This saves quite a bit of space in your luggage and keeps clothes organized (you can put outfits together).

That is a great tip. Where can I find those and do you know about how much they run.

TIP:

Take along a magnetic write-on/wipe-off board. We stuck it on our stateroom door and instructed our 10-year-old to come to the room and make a note to let us know where he would be if he decided to check himself out of the Oceaneer Lab. This way we could still keep track of him if we needed to find him. [Editor’s Note: You can also buy write-on/wipe-off plastic sheets which are lighter and will fit in your luggage easier. You can attach the sheet to your stateroom door with magnets.]

We are doing that with our swim suits in our carry ons. That way we can repack them wet to get on the ship.

TIP:

When you step into a corridor, do you get confused about which way is which? It’s easy to do! It’s easy to figure out which way is forward (toward the bow) and aft (toward the stern)—just look down at the carpet. There’s an anchor design in the corridor carpet. The blue part of the anchor points forward, and the red part of the anchor points back to the stern. If you find it hard to remember which color points where, remember Blue points to the Bow. In addition, the carpet outside each bank of elevators varies by deck level. Memorize the carpet pattern outside the elevators nearest to your stateroom and you won’t accidentally get off at the wrong stop again!
