I just got back from my walk. Just finished kicking some cinnabutt.

Not really. There was some redhead in a wheelchair though. I gave her a little push and "whoops", she rolled down the hill.

All of my cruise shopping is done. I finished it Monday evening. No more going out and having to buy things for the cruise. One less thing to worry about. Now I just need to keep working on packing.

So I have to ask. Was he a real person or was he something or someone made up?

I think he was for real - I can't see anyone going to the trouble of making up all of that stuff he posted about his daughter, who had some pretty challenging health issues from what I remember reading. Some people just drift into a thread and then drift right back out - it's not always what they're looking for.

When I first started posting on the DIS right before our first Western cruise in 2004, I was just looking for as much information as I could get my hands on. It took me a while to get comfortable with the whole DIS-community thing and I had to decide whether or not all you weirdos were really trustworthy.

Just teasing ... you know I love you guys!

Wow Carrie. I'm impressed. I haven't had the chance to do much of anything. Our weekends have been so full and during the week, I'm lucky to get my walk in. I may have to go back to getting up at 5 AM to excercise so I have extra time after work every day. I have to say I'm not looking forward to that.

I have been doing the shopping thing since abou this time last year. Getting thing things in bigger sizes so the kids could grow into them. I had to budget is a little bit each week. I must admit I will miss going to Savers each week though. I will have to find reasons to go there.

Good for you...I'm sure I'll be picking up odds and ends until the last week.

I don't need to do any clothes shopping...my shopping is all little stuff. Seasick meds, toiletries, etc....

I can't quite start packing yet, since I'm wearing some of the clothes I'll be taking on the cruise!

Jen, Who in your family gets seasick? My DD gets car sick but only if someone else is driving. We haven't found anything that works yet.

BTW, we were told by CM that the parade was special because you normally don't get Tink in costume in the parades.

Holy cow! Kohl's headquarters is about 1 mile from my house!! Are you coming anytime before the cruise yet? We'll have a DISmeet. I'm sure there would be some other interested WI Disers that would want to meet up too.

Unfortunately, no-some people from my company were there a few weeks ago but I didn't go. We might be out there in November for a Summit-I will definitely keep you posted!

Our favorite is Caribbean Beach but this year we are trying out Port Orleans French Quarter just for something different.
