We need to get to DtD before hand also to get the Lego Advent Calendar (wasn't in this past weekend). However, I'm not wasting anytime that afternoon since we're at the Ron Jon. If we go, it will be in the evening.

Otherwise, I think I may just order it online and pay the shipping (a lot less than my time or the gas to run to DtD).

I've bought those before for my son, but even cooler still(inho)....if you can find it, is the Playmobil advent calender.

cass, hope you are feeling better. we havnt heard from darkrobe since the move. is he ok? just worn out? tell him we said hi.(and take it easy)

beef. sounds like a great trip.
we used to go for 2 weeks in the summer and always had to work around the rain. never let it bother us.

a few days ago there was discussion on getting kids to ride some of the rides they didnt want to. reminded us of years ago our ds was real young and just made the cutoff height on thunder mntn. we took him on figuring he would love it, but he was scared to death. he hated it and wouldnt go on again.
by our visit the next summer he said he wasnt going to ride it again, so we started telling him "its ok, they slowed it down from last year."(we lied)
its the only way we could get him on it again.:rolleyes1
sure enough we got him on it and at the top of the big hill he yelled out..
"YOU GUYS LIED TO ME" :rolleyes1 it was a few years before he would ride it again and of course loved it by then.
were we bad parents?:confused3  pirate:

Jeff, sounds like a great time to go to DW, most of your line wait times were excellent!

To us, we only like 30 minutes or less, so for the most part it was great.

Don't you just love,love Everest?!:woohoo:
Course, my son wouldn't go on with me....

Yes, it is a great ride. DS loved it.

So, you only went for the weekend?

Yes. It was suppose to be just a quick 3 night trip to do the P&PP and a waterpark day or two, but we moved it to 4 nights and got the dining package for free to boot. Still, a nice little diversion before the cruise (which is only 6 1/2 weeks away :cool1: ).

Did the kids love the pirate and princess party?
10,000 at MK! Cool!

First, I'm not like Karen and have an unmentioned child. Just the one, DS. :rotfl2:

Yes, the small crowd was great. We've been to MNSSHP when it was not to capacity and I can tell you this was substantially less crowded than those parties.

thanks. we are very lucky. not sure if robin mentioned it or not but our daughter in law is with child again!! only about 1 1/2 months so far and they havnt announced it to the rest of the family yet, so keep it under your hat.
:rotfl2:

I'm fine. Got a Dr. appt on Friday afternoon but I am doing good. Rob has been so busy lately, if he's not working he is building/moving/organizing/cleaning something but he will be back when we get the house completely organized and back into proper living condition :thumbsup2

Photos????

You don't want photos do you?

I'll go upload some to photobuckt now and try to get some up tonight.

Most of them have DS in them and we don't post photos with him in it, but I think I have some good ones for you.

A lot of the P&PP Fireworks and Parade.

When we checked in, they had all these different color balloons behind the counter for the Pirate Party. Our CM had a black one by her. We asked how we could get a balloon like that (did we have to buy it somewhere). She said no, they are for the kids who ask. So we had DS ask if he could have a balloon, and she gave him one.

This is what it looked like:

Here is a pic of Cinderella's Coach that we could get a picture by:

Funny story, we're waiting to get on Peter Pan's flight (I think that's the one across from Small World) and Suz is trying to read the sign.

She say's, "What is Cinderella's Couch Potato". :lmao:

The sign said "Cinderella's Coach Photo". :rotfl2:

I'm going to butcher the story on this one because I don't know it. But in the one where there are the 3 "fairy godmothers" each in a different colored dress, two of them were going back and forth saying "Blue", "No, Pink", and they had the blue and pink fireworks. It was funny when they were going back and forth.

This is when the Pirates "blew up" the Castle:

Sorry it's a little blurry. My tripod wasn't tight and would wiggle.
