Evening Paige.

Glad to see you've joined me.

If we'd get everyone back on here, we could push this thing about 22K pretty quickly.

Robin here...
We ate in the Dining Room every Disney cruise we have taken. (unless it has changed)

Hi Jen
We too have always eaten in the dining room.Saturday being the first night is when you meet your servers. We have done four Disney cruises. This time we are going to the dining room to meet the servers and then up to Palo for dinner at 7:00.
Lynn

I don't even think the Buffet in Topsiders is open on the first night. Nope. Just checked the Navigators. Topsiders doesn't open for dinner until the second night.

But to answer your question, you always have a dining room to go to for dinner. You may opt out for the Topsider Buffet, Palo, Room Service, Pluto's, or Pinnochio's.

I'm only doing this rotation because it is the most popular for the Western cruise.

During the first three nights, you will go to each of the three restaurants. After tonight, the menus are the same regardless of the restaurant you're in.

You will know your rotation based on your KTTW at check in.

APL = 5:30 or 8:00 depending on if you are early or late. You will have Animators Palate, Parrot Cay and then Lumieres. It will repeat the same order after that.

PLA = 5:45 or 8:15. Your order will be Parrot Cay, Lumiere's and then Animators Palate.

LAP = 6:00 or 8:30. Your order will be Lumiere's, Animators Palate and then Parrot Cay.

Hope this answers your questions. Please let me know if it is not clear or if you have additional questions. Someone here will have the answer.

Hey, I forgot. It is Formal Night tonight and the Golden Mickey's. Who's dressing up?

Thanks for the replies...that's what I thought. We have early seating, but I suppose we won't know the rotation until we check in.

We decided not to do Palo's for dinner this cruise (but may try to snag brunch ressies once on board) so I don't have to worry about missing anything important, like the first night at Animator's Palate.

Oh, we're dressing up for formal night...DH will be in a suit, and I in my little black dress!

Ok, Bears are ahead, and I'm sleepy. Time to log off for the night...

Completely new topic:

For those of you that have seen the POTC movies (all three)...

Do you think there was a difference between the first movie and second/third movies as far as style of movie, theme, etc? DH thinks I'm way off here...but I thought the second and third movies took a complete left turn. The first movie felt like a romantic adventure comedy (reminiscent of Princess Bride) but the second and third were much more of action/adventure/special effects movies. Thoughts from anyone?

Hi Jeff. Looks like Dean is now a cat 5. Do you think Coz will get lucky?

Yes. It should be hitting Mexico about 165 miles south of Cancun (Coz is about 40 miles south) so it should only get hit with the outer bands, so maybe Tropical Storm force winds.

Not sure what will be of Costa Maya though.
