Let me tell you all about our
Disney cruise elevator story.
My youngest son ended up being the wild one of the whole bunch. He was the first up, last to bed and partied like he never had before. We had to sign him in and out as he was 8.
So he would say, "I heading back to my group, don't pick me up till 1AM because we are doing ______". So it was after dinner and after the theatre show and Mary and I would roam around a little and watch people etc and then she would head to the room. So my oldest and I would do things together just trying to stay awake.
So my son got to ordering room service every night and he would eat that and watch a movie in the room and wait for time to go with me to get Trevor. (My oldest son also would give us directions that were ALWAYS the wrong way or wrong floor)
So we are finally able to go and get Trevor and we are soooo tired that we are doing that giggling for no reason thing like drunks. We find the elevator and get in and are looking down at the people on the floors through the elevator. We keep looking and looking and looking... then we realize we didn't hit a floor so we aren't even moving.
So we hit the floor number and it starts to move and then the door opens and a kid gets on. We are laughing hysterically now and can't even understand the words we are telling each other. The kid gets off the elevator and says, "What weirdos!" Which makes us laugh even more. The door shuts and the elevator begins to move and then we realize we again had hit no floor. So we are arguing about which floor it is and we just hit the button as it is at that level and the door opens and now we are with tears streaking our faces.
So we go to the kids section to sign Trevor out and there stands that kid we were on the elevator with, checking out his brother........... This set us off again and when we get Trevor he says, "You guys need to get some sleep because you are acting up."
So now, he wants to check himself in and out. To save himself the embarrassment of us. We won't let him!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
