Ok we are off. I am tired and don't know if I can stay up much longer so I better take advantage of the movie time while I can.

Ok, as promised....

She's a beauty, Cass!

Hey, did you say it is your DH's birthday this weekend? Or did I dream that? I was "dis"sing before going to bed last night......

You got there at 10am and got a number 3 boarding pass???

You know that's weird cus we were on the cruise right after you and they didn't do the boarding pass thing, we all lined up in the Terminal. I was only about 30 people from the front of the line.

I am thinking about posting it in my live trip report :rolleyes1

Yup, a number 3. There were hardly any people in the terminal when we got there. Maybe 50 just roaming around. We walked right up to the desk to register. I think we got a 3 because Concierge got the ones and twos. We were the first passengers on the Magic after drydock so we were a little late in boarding. We boarded around 1:00. Then it was a huge cluster frick (:goodvibes ) trying to call the numbers out. The microphone was all crackly and everyone was talking so loud that we couldn't hear when our number was called. People just started holding up fingers to indicate the number being called. People with #6 & #7's stood in the front of the line and some unwilling to let us #3's through.

Man...."Get the heck out of my way...I have a number #3"!!! :rotfl2:

I think Brenda and Jason got there late hoping to just walk onto the ship. WRONGO B&J!! They had to wait until we all got on. By the time they got on half the booze was gone already. :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2: JK, JK!! They found some.

Yes, Rob's birthday is the 12th, so I am going to phone him in about 1 hour and 40 minutes to wish him Happy Birthday :woohoo:

Really? Wow, you guys really did get screwed over huh! I'm glad we booked the second cruise after drydock!! ::yes::

Does that mean Happy Birthday to Steve too? I thought three guys shared the same birthday, No??

Yes, it's Steve's birthday too!

Well then...:cheer2: Happy Birthday to Steve too! :cheer2:

Yes, welcome home Paige!!! :woohoo: :woohoo: :cool1: :cool1:

And Happy Birthday Steve!!! party: :bday: party: :jumping1:

OK, ladies. I'm calling it quits for the night. Tell Rob I say Happy B-day Cass.

Talk to you all tomorrow. :)

Well, a big "Happy Birthday!"to Cass' Rob and Steve.

It's my Rob's birthday on the 12th, too!

I guess I need to get to bed, too. I am just so happy to be able to Dis again, that I am not too sleepy.

We took the kids to see "Evan Almighty" tonight.....soo funny. I'm sure many of you have seen it already; the movie theatre on base is a couple of weeks behind, but that's ok with me, as it is on $2 for me, Rob, and Emily, and $1 for Derek and Alex. So for 25 bucks, all 5 of us were admitted and had popcorn and drinks (I smuggled candy in my purse!)......Not a bad night!

Hey, anybody else's smilies not working? My settings must be off.

Ok, I'm going to try to get some sleep......

'night all--

I have heard that you have to get up REALLY early to get a lounge chair by the pool especially on sea days. I haerd that some people get up, place towels on the chairs and then go back to seleep.

So what time is all this happening? If I wanted to get up early to save a chair (by staying and reading a book) - how early do I need to go up? Is 7am early enough??

thanks
Jessalynn

We do not know any of our flight information either. You would think some where along the way we should cross paths. We are both comming from the west coast. Maybe we sould have a DIS PJ party of the DCL desk. I am one of those people that will sleep in line if I have to.

That ought to turn a few heads! Yep, I'll be there early. Even If I have to eat early and let the family catch up with me.

We stayed at the Hyatt in 05 for our first cruise. Cass is correct on the last quote above. We could not check in until the morning. We just stood in line at a table they had set up and got our boarding passes then. Chuck and I were on the first bus (which left around 9:15) with two other DISer families. We bantered back and forth for weeks as to who would be first on the buses. I have a picture somewhere with two of us with one foot each on the steps of the 1st bus out of the airport that morning. That way we both won the race. As we were posing the 3rd DISer tried to run through us to get on the bus first. :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Guess who won? I'll give you a hint...Their initials are Chuck and Nancy!!:lmao: :rotfl2: :lmao:

We got to the terminal a little after 10:00 am and got a number 3 boarding pass for the Magic.

Thanks for the info. I can just imagine you guys fighting over the first seat on that bus. That's rich!

Does that mean Happy Birthday to Steve too? I thought three guys shared the same birthday, No??

Three?

Well then...:cheer2: Happy Birthday to Steve too! :cheer2:

Thank you. I think that it will be pretty good! We're going to San Francisco for the day. (probably)

I have 58 more days till Disney!! :cool1: :woohoo:

Envy! We've still got 69 days! But at dinner today I announced to the family, "Just think, In 10 weeks we'll be eating our dinner on the Mickey Ship watching the Animators show!" That got some excitement rolling!

Well, a big "Happy Birthday!"to Cass' Rob and Steve.

It's my Rob's birthday on the 12th, too!

WOW! The three of us sharing a birthday, that is Freaky.

 Happy Birthday Rob!

Hey that's pretty cool I killed two birds with one stone with that one!

You guys have a wonderful day. I can't wait to meet you two.

Hi Guys...I popped out to the shops for 1hr and guess who phones whilst I'm out.....Yes Linda!

She says that they have finally found temporary acommodation and are starting to turn things around. It looks like the drying out and rebuilding could take anywhere from 6mth to a year, but Wayne shold be able to do the majority of the work himself.

They are coming on the cruise with us all....yippee...and wished to let everyone know that they are really touched by all the good wishes from us all.

They haven't been able to do any ressies as the flood happened the night before returning cruisers could book on-line. She hopes that when they get on-board Disney might take pity on them and sort out brunch in Palo's as this was the one thing that her and Wayne wanted to do this time.

The excursions will just be a case of taking a chance once on-board. Anyway, I will be speaking to her in about half an hour, so if there is anything more to report....I'll update this thread
