Carrie glad all went well tonight. It is a hard adjustment to make sending your "baby" off to school. I hope all goes well for you Wed. also!

Cheryl

Thank you. I know it will go ok. Not only is she my baby but she is my only. I think that makes it even harder.

Hello Al, Cheryl Rach,
We finally registered as Morsel. Still trying to figure out how to use the chat board. What's this about not liking cream puffs? Maybe Magic will make them for us?
Chris and Lynn

Hi Lynn and Chris  Glad to see you finally started posting here and aren't just lurking anymore! I still thinking you should have used the screen name Lurking Lynn it has a nice ring too it :lmao:
Nope I don't like cream puffs from the State Fair, I'd much rather have the ones my aunt makes with Cool Whip :thumbsup2

Thank you. I know it will go ok. Not only is she my baby but she is my only. I think that makes it even harder.

Carrie I agree that I think it is even harder with an only child. Rachel is our only too and it was hard to send her off to school even though she had been going to daycare the 3 days a week that I work. I just tried to focus on her excitement about starting school.

I am off to bed, still trying to recover from last night. Have a good night/day everyone

Holy s%%t seen this fella...Dan Murphy

Now here's the bloke we need on here Jeff.....:rotfl2:

I've chatted with Dan on many occasions, he is a great guy! He's a very generous kind fellow that everyone just loves!

Has everyone finished reading HP7 yet? Is it safe to start discussing the end?

Heather

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO :sad2: I am waiting for the movies, THEN I will read the books and I have done everything to stay away from any kind of spoilers :rolleyes1

*pokes her head in and says "Hellooooooooo...is anyone out there???"* :magnify:

I know I will. I feel bad for Scott. He has been the stay at home dad part of the week with her, he has gotten really attached. How many days to you get off in a row if you work 12s

When working 12's you have to work 3 days/wk. I tend to work 4. That way Laura can be a stay-at-home mom

*pokes her head in and says "Hellooooooooo...is anyone out there???"* :magnify:

I'm here. Kinda in and out.

Good morning everybody from a bright and sunny Birmingham:goodvibes

Another day of vegetables to look forward to:rotfl2:

just need something for grand caymen to keep cath away from those diamond shops!!!!!

with the parasail trip on cc which is an hour long cath wants to come to watch but not really do the parasail does anybody know if that is possible?

I dont she can Sean. Get her to have a go - I'm doing it for the very first time so we can scream together:scared1: :scared1: Ellis will be in the kids club for the hour we're away. Its a shady area so it will do him good to stay out the sun for a while anyway.

As for Grand Cayman - come on the KK meet - the Pirate encounter - we're all on the early one - should be real good fun with lots of us on it .

I can now post that WE will be joining you on the early pirate: Encounter!

Jen
with DH Pete, DS Thomas (4) and Grandma "Essie"

WOOOOOHOOOOOO:banana:  - WELCOME ONBAORD FELLOW PIRATESpirate: pirate: . There are several young kidsin our group, Thomas will have fun!

Ok I have to be honest here. None DIS related. I don't know how I am going to handle the next few days. My little girls if going off to school. I really thought I would have another year with her. I know it is what is best for her but I really feel like someone is ripping out my heart. If I can make it through the next 3 days without crying I will do good. I am taking my camera tonight in hopes that maybe taking pictures will help me from crying.

Oh Carrie - big hugs:hug: I have been on both sides of the fence - as both a mum and a teaching assistant trying to persaude the parent to let go of the child on the first morning:goodvibes Even if the kids cry as soon as the parent has gone they are fine within about 2 minutes. The best thing is to make it a fun and exciting morning. Pre-plan everything together - get excited about her uniform (if she wears one) and her lunchbox etc. Go past the school and show her her classroom etc. On the morning I skipped all the way to school with Ellis to make it more fun for him even though my heart was breaking in two.:sad1: As long as you can get through the goodbye and shegoes in hapy you've done a great job. It doesnt matter if you  afterwards - just not in front of her or she'll worry.

Hope it goes well:hug:

Karen, I faxed ours over 6 weeks ago myself. I also heard nothing. I will, however, take copies along. I don't have the phone number but here is the fax number. 407/938-4295. Will a fax number help you? If not, scan your med forms, email them to me and I will print them out and fax them for you.

I dont have a scanner Nancy:sad2: - we threw it away cos we never used it:rolleyes1

Thanks for the fax no though - if I find the original I'll find somewhere to fax it over.

Is she starting kindergarten already? I am dreading Sept. 4th--the day my little buddy starts kindergarten. He told me he doesn't want to go because he doesn't want me to be lonely--how sweet is that?

Oh how lovely of him:cutie:

Can I ask? Why is everyone so psyched for the Pirate Excursion? pirate: Is it something new or is it supposed to be really good? We didn't book it, but I am starting to feel left out. :confused3 What's the big deal about it?

Book it! - its a KK meet! - loads of us are on it

Does anyone else miss Missy like I miss Missy? Hey Missy, we miss you. Come back to us Ms Missy. :goodvibes

Me too - I miss Missy, does Missy miss us?:goodvibes

FO! I got my first FO

WELL DONE:banana:

Heather I'm still reading HP7. I have about 200 pages to read yet. The extra hours at work and the house projects we have going on are seiously cutting into my time to read. I am really enjoying it but just don't seem to get more than little snatches of time to read HP7 or DIS. If you start discussing just put a "spoiler alert" or something and I'll ignore those posts for now. I'll try and finish reading the book in the next few days!

Will do!:thumbsup2
Heather

hi ther i hope you dont mind me asking but we were thinking about the sub thing in caymen , are you on the atlantis because i cant seem to find that one or are you on the part sub trip?

thanks

sean

I think we are on that one too.

Everything on the DIS seems to have slowed down... I guess everyone needs to recover from the reservation feeding frenzy that was Sunday night / Monday morning. ;)

Our summer heat has finally returned... forecast high 100 degrees F with a heat index of 110-115 degrees F.

Yucko. It's going to be like this all week. I have to take a change of clothes with me to wear home from work because my car gets so hot and my drive is so long that even with the air conditioning on I sweat through my clothes. That's just disgusting. :scared:
