This is a fast moving thread!!!

Thanks for the Palo advice to everyone that gave it :)
I will try and make my reservation for that right when we get on the ship:thumbsup2

Have a great day today everyone!!

Can I ask? Why is everyone so psyched for the Pirate Excursion? pirate: Is it something new or is it supposed to be really good? We didn't book it, but I am starting to feel left out. :confused3 What's the big deal about it?

For me, it's something I think DS will love...he is TOTALLLY into pirates. Of course, his idea of pirates is still a bit tame (his idea of pirates comes from the Veggietales "Pirates Who Don't Do Anything", Backyardigans, Little Einsteins, Peter Pan, etc.). Still, I think being on a "real" pirate ship will just knock his socks off!

hi ther i hope you dont mind me asking but we were thinking about the sub thing in caymen , are you on the atlantis because i cant seem to find that one or are you on the part sub trip?

thanks

sean

Sean,

We are on the Nautilus Semi Sub in Grand Cayman. I wanted the SeaWorld Semi Sub but it was unavail. This one looks to be pretty much the same thing. Passporter gave it the same rating 9/10.

Fantastic job on the weight loss Jen!! :yay:

What did your TA have to say about the situation?:confused3

We use AAA and never had a problem. We do have one fantastic TA though. Always willing to help and to look into things for us.

Thanks! It's been a long road, and I still want to lose a few more pounds, but for now, I'm focusing on some other aspects of my life.

I don't think I told everybody yet, but I'm only 4'9", so 60 pounds lost on me looks like about 80 on a taller person!

The TA did check with her accounting department to see when our payment was sent to Disney, and told me payment should be posted on Monday. She also said, "well checks take a little longer"...which she should have told us beforehand. I'm letting it go since all is well and she's been doing a pretty good job otherwise, but she REALLY would have felt my wrath if I had not gotten the pirate: excursion.

Does anyone know how the arcades work? Does my son NEED charging priviliges to use the arcade? It was my plan to give him a daily allowance for playing games. But if it uses the KTTW card then I fear that he may not have an incentive to stop playing.

We used AAA for this cruise also and have had nothing but problems. It has been 3 years of problems. We are ending our membership after we get back from this trip.

Our TA has been fairly good, except for this payment thing. It would have been worse if we were trying to get Palo ressies or didn't get the excursions we wanted. However, except for the cruise itself, and airline tickets (which she was able to get for a few $$$ less and didn't charge us a booking fee), I have researched and planned/booked everything else on the trip - hotel for the night before, ground transport, parking, excursions, etc. That way I can double-check everything myself before we travel. I'll still keep AAA, but I have it more for the roadside assistance service than anything else. I don't know how to change a tire:confused3 ...

I think I read somewhere (maybe in Passporter's??) that you can get kids a debit card at the arcarde. I will try to remeber to check tonight...I don't have it at work today :)

Steve,Ryan seems to remember you put your KTTW card into some machine to buy a credit card in $10/20 or $50 denominations for the games...where spending money is concerned Ryan has this down to a fine art and is rarely wrong sir.....:lmao: :rotfl2: :lmao:

Hi everyone

Phew! - I'm exhausted. Just creosted the fences in the back garden. I did it with a sprayer so now I'm covered in little brown dots:rotfl2: - I look like I have a million freckles:eek: - its water based so I should be ok once I jump in the shower. Hopefully my "freckles" will all scrub off:rotfl2:

I enjoy doing garden jobs - you can always see long lasting results and improvements for your hard work, (unlike housework and ironing that just returns a day later:sad2: )

I'm planting a eucalyptus tree, a yellow tree - cant remember the name :rolleyes1 and a twisted willow tree tomorrow. It will look nice once I'm done. I have to stop buying palnts now though. Every time I pass a garden centre I come hjome with a tree or bush:lmao: - Neils credit card doesnt like me much:rolleyes1

It really hates me today. We went looking at fireplaces this morning. We ended up ordering a new limestone fire surround, hearth etc and a new gas fire. Nearly $3000 but sooooo lovely:yay:

I'm off to shower before my freckles become a permanant feature

Awww, that is sweet!:cloud9:

Is this the little guy who "cleaned" your room last week Victoria?

Yep, that's the one--the same little stinker who said he "didn't know whodunnit, but it wasn't me!' when Curt's grandma died. :)

That is very sweet. Yes she starts on Wednesday for full day. I know she will do well it will just be me that has to adjust.

Good Luck on Wednesday--my girlfriend (who is in the same situation--baby going off to full-day kindergarten) and I plan on having cocktails as soon as we drop them off. :lmao: Seriously, it will be a hard adjustment for all of us.
