Still waiting to book my rezzies

The iPhone isn't coming to Canada for a while, our data rates are stupid silly expensive. I wish on many occassions we had your rate plans. I use a Treo 650 myself and have had a Palm since it was 3Com and my first one was a IIIx (you're a true geek if you know what year I'm referencing too! :thumbsup2 ) Interested in the feedback on the iPhone though! BTW: In Canada they aren't too sure if you'll have to pay AVLA fees for being able to put music on it as well; Governments make things so complicated.

I don't have one, but one of the Doc's I work with does and I played with it quite a bit, it's very nice. More responsive than any handheld that I have used. Intuitive as all get out. Very nice. I can't wait till the price comes down a bit. I'll have one. (This from a guy who believes that anything that does more than one thing does neither of them well.)

Hmm...you guys be the judges...

Rob's side..

That looks like my desk! My wife is always griping about it.

Rob. How do you like you're dual monitor setup? I did this years ago and only sort of used it. On my latest build I tried Duals again and Now I LOVE IT!

His desk is usually much neater than that, but he has been SO busy with work and business trips and now moving stuff, it's hard to keep up! It's actually been driving him a little nuts as he is very organized.

About the dual monitors....funny story...

I had dual monitors on my desk about 2 years ago, he only wanted one but he bought a new monitor, he wanted a widescreen one. He saw how much I loved my set-up so he did it for himself, but he bought a bigger monitor so I ended up with his widescreen and my second regular monitor. Neither of us could live with only ONE monitor now :rolleyes1

Jessalynn, Here is the explanation for the Linda Chain Letter.

I just received a post card from Linda. I'll quote it word for word:

Nancy, I'm writing to let you know our house was flooded Fri 20th-July. Up to waist height in sewage water. We have lost everything down stairs, lounge, kitchen, study, utility, dining room. Ellies house/toys in garden. Firefighters had to rescue our neighbors by life boat! We will be out of our house for 6-9 months. We are in hotel at present. Looking for place to rent-but then so are 100's of other families! What a nightmare! Please let others know I hope to be on line by Oct, but I don't know my DIS info. (It was on my favorites on the lap top). We have to put our upstairs stuff in storage-as looters have been in the street! What with Ellies moving schools & now this, I will so need this cruise.

Love Linda, Wayne & Elouise.

At least we saved our DIsney, wedding & baby photos!

Please keep Linda in your thoughts and prayers KK's!!

SORRY, I TYPED THAT SO FAST THAT I DIDN'T HAVE TIME TO PROOF. I WENT BACK TO CORRECT 2 HOURS LATER

Thanks for the feedback on the iPhone, I've read some stuff about both sides of the tech coin for that thing. Its a love/hate thing it seems. Would love to see one though! Price is unreal though, talk about gouging!

As for the monitors, I think Cass said it all, never go back. Though I have thought about going to 3 monitors on occassion. I have way too much on the go sometimes, guess it goes with the phones as well. The biggest difference with the dual monitors though is your video card, Cass has a ATI x850 & I have an ATI x1900 (totally rocks, unfortunately my computer can't handle all its processing capabilities, would have to upgrade my puter from a Dell 8400 to a XPS (or an Alienware box or Voodoo!) like Cass').

Now to get two widescreen monitors in the future for the both of us! :thumbsup2

Well we changed our Cozumel excursion, we are now doing the Fury ab\nd Beach party. After reading the Pass-porter and the reviews of all the excursions we decided this was the best idea for the money. We get to do something for all of us plus we stay together as a family. I just hope that it is not too long because Sean will get bored or frustrated. We may have to rethink him coming and have him stay with my parents. He does not swim well enough yet to allow him to snorkel and I think he may be happier just swimming. We'll see.

I feel so sorry for Lindy, I can't imagine the devastation. I have a brother that lives in France and if something happened to him so far from us it would be really hard because you don't know what to do and how to help. I can't remember how old her daughter is, please let me know. We have a lot of clothing for a small girl, 2t -5t, and would be happy to forward to her if she needs it.

I will be going to bed soon so if anyone has info or wants to forward me the e-mail that is going around please do. My roadrunner email is on Yahoo groups, KK, or PM me and I'll forward it.

Thanks

Hello Al, Cheryl Rach,
We finally registered as Morsel. Still trying to figure out how to use the chat board. What's this about not liking cream puffs? Maybe Magic will make them for us?
Chris and Lynn

:welcome: WELCOME :welcome: to the Morsels. Glad you could join us Chris and Lynn. Is this your first cruise or are you the friends who are traveling with Cheryl and her family?

Either way, it's nice to "meet" you.

Here is Scott's question of the month. If all the kk men were to do a talent show on the ship and prefrom as the Village People who would be who?

Since people have posted picture of their house and I finally finished all the yard work I thought I would post one of ours.

Cheryl,

I think I sent Linda's letter on to you. Tag, you're it! I hope it worked--I'm not very computer literate. :confused3

Did I get a FO?

Sorry Rob, Jessalynn stole your FO. Try, try again.:thumbsup2

Gotta go and pass some time before the kids bookings. We're starting a game of Scattergories. Anyone want to join in?:confused3

Judy,

just some feedback for you on this excursion. Jay and I went on it when we were in Cozumel in October 2004 and it was a great deal for the price.

They'll pick you up right at the pier - you sail for about 15-20 minutes to a cove where you'll snorkel for about 30-40 minutes in absolutely the most clear, gorgeous water. Then you get to sail for about 45 minutes to a private beach owned by the tour company - there's beach volleyball, all kinds of water equipment, a small bar, and restaurant. Then you get to sail back to the pier for another 45 minutes or so.

We really had a great time - lots of variety, the catamarans and beach were very clean, and the tour operators were really friendly and helpful.

I hope you and your family have as good a time as we did. We would definitely book again if we were taking the cruise. :thumbsup2

Just finished watching Happy Feet with the kids--can't stand the waiting anymore. Less than 1 hour--reservations here I come. :thumbsup2

Here is one of our doggie. Amaretto. Don't mind the red eye. I did not take the time to fix it. She actually has one blue eye and one black eye.

Yup, gotta get back to packing. As for the game, perhaps not Scattergories but perhaps Star Wars Trivial Pursuit? :rotfl: :darth: :yoda:
