I am done buying clothes and stuff for Mackenzie for the cruise. I only have 2 more things to buy for myself. I hope to get those this Friday.

Well I still have some shopping to do for Kyle and Scott. But it is nothing to major. I hope to have all the shopping done by the second weekend in September. I hope to have the big suitcases completly packed by the first weekend in Oct. That will just leave me the last minute things for the carry ons.

We did a zipline in Antigua last year and had a ball and wanted to to do it in playa del carmen but worried about getting back
Disney used to offer this excursion but dropped it
this is our 5th cruise with DCL and next year we are booked for the eastbound repo cruise in august. 10 family members in our group for this cruise myself wife 2 daughters 2 son in law 4 grandchildren

Hi Scott - the weather here is horrible...grey and rainy. Rick is fine...he's gone to work whilst I've got a week off (I have more holiday than him). I'm taking Mum and Dad out today to visit an elderly aunt. This is early for you today? It's 8.30am here.

Just catching up on last night's posts...had about 5 pages to read.

here's a question....for those of you that have young kids (say in the 3-6 range) have you told them about the cruise yet? I haven't told DS yet (he's 4), but he's going to be so excited.

My kids have known about the cruise for some time. At the 100 day mark we made a paper chain with a link for each day. They take turns tearing off the links every day.

Intellectually, the kids know they are going. Realistically, I'm not sure if they have a clue as to what they are in for. Every once in a while we watch the DCL video. I want them somewhat familiar so that they don't freak with the characters. Our 3 year old told us the other day that she was done talking about the "Mickey Ship" and was ready to go.
