If you do the online check in, what comes in your cruise documents? And is the signed contract the only thing you have to bring for check-in (besides passports)?

I can still DIS from the laptop for a couple more days but then I am CUT OFF I will be over at the new house Thursday and Friday night so I gotta get my fix tonight, tomorrow and Wednesday

After Wednesday, I won't be DISing again until Tuesday or Wednesday Night!!!

Question for all the ladies

I am in process of packing and have a question. All the girls and I have strapless or spagetti strap dresses. We all also have shawls that we can bring if need be for dinner. Would we need them?

It can get a bit chilly in the theatre - so I would bring them.

Sorry I wasn't able to get on the boards last night.....we had terrible storms last night and the kids needed a little extra TLC to get to sleep. When my hubby and I did finally have a minute to ourselves (at about 10:00) I fell asleep next to him on the sofa while watching the football game!!!

I see you all have been talking about water in your basements.......count us in!!! Apparently after I went to be last night Mike went downstairs to make sure that the boys had turned off the t.v., playstation, etc. for the night and to check the lock on the sliding door.........well, to his surprise he found water running into the basement from under the sliding door!!!! (The drain outside the door had been blocked by a baseball and some butterfly bush debris from the storm!!!) Poor thing......he was up until 3:00 a.m. vacuuming water out of the carpet! He came to bed and never said a word! I asked him this morning why he didn't wake me up to help......he said "you were sound asleep.....we only have one shop vac and it was nothing I couldn't handle by myself" (He is such a sweetie!! ) I guess I will be purchasing a dehumidifier at lunchtime today!!

Another packing question. Are there boxes of kleenex in the rooms?

I have 2 travel boxes of kleenex packed (they are mickey designed). If the rooms have kleenex then I will unpack them.

Only in the bathroom.

Isn't usually our UK'ers here early in OUR morning? Chris is gone this week, Karen is gone for two, and Heather was appointed the official UK KK Rep for the week.

Susan always checks in every morning too.

I'm here and so is Jen. What more do you want pal?

You will still get your cruise documents. Do not be surprised if there are a few things missing. From what I have heard, Disney will remove a portion of the documents if you have already filled them out online. I guess this saves on postage.

Ok, I think I have now made all the reservations I can possibly make for this trip! I have booked the cruise, flight, excursions, hotel, van to the port, and I have just booked my parking space for the airport! There's a lot close to the airport that charges less than the airport (8.75 per day vs. 12.00 per day for the remote lot) and they shuttle you to and from the airport. Hopefully it will work out ok - I've never used them before.

Have I missed anything??

Maybe they are finally fixing the "search" feature.

Guess we have our joke of the day.

I don't think they'll ever give us a reasonable search. It has been about 9 months now and they have done NOTHING to correct it. EVERYONE complains about it, yet they don't listen. At least DCL listens when the DIS masses complain to them (got our $100 per person upcharge for the repo cruise refunded).

I know as of April the Mods could still use the old search engine. Why not give us that back.

You could do search on our thread right now for "pirate" and nothing would come up, even though I just typed it and we have discussed it in length regarding the Pirate Excursion on GC.

You can do a search for my posts, and nothing will come up.

Can you tell how I feel about this?

Got some more packing done last night. So excited. I am glad I am doing mine now. I really hate doing things at the last minute and I need to be available to help my mom pack for them if she still needs my help come that point in time.

It is so hard packing for Kyle because we normally only have him at the most 2 days a week so I only have enough clothes for about 4 days for him so I still have some shopping that needs to be done for him. Just the basics (socks and underwear) I just hate the prices they charge for them and really would like to get them on sale or clearance. But that does not seem to be happening.
