Oh the main reason DCL gave was that with people ending up missing off of the ships, that they need to have your birthdate to give to the officals. This is their way of getting your age without comming right out and asking how old you are. Also they said if the ship was to ever go done they need the information for that purpose also. That and if you get injured on land and seek medical treatment on land they need it for that also.

Get a date yourself. Wait until they are not so angry and then ask your mom how old was she when she and dad got married. Then go on with other ages blah blah blah until you can figure out dates. Then you can call Disney or theTA and give the dates and then they shoudln't ask again or you can just go up to check everyone in. Tell them you'll be checking in your parents as they don't HEAR well. hahahahaha

If you know how old they were when you were born... you could get a year that way. Also, on your birth certificate it should have their ages....

Do they have passports or will they be traveling with a birth certificate or do they need either one of those? Be sneaky and peek in their wallets or if it is recorded in the family bible.

Hey .... we won't judge you! Hang in there... what will happen will and worrying about it won't change it any.

Thanks. It just makes it really difficult because my mother is the one who made all the bookings. She picked a AAA location near her to do it. Which is far for me to drive to. She also did it because I work full time. I understand that she got ill and I had to make the trip over there yesterday to pay it off. But then at the last minute she decided to go with me to pay it off. Now the TA won't even deal with her. So I will have to work a half day on Sept 19th in order to go get the docs. Plus now when all the airline info comes in the TA wants to go over it with me for approval and to set up transports. This is all stuff that if I do not do to my parents standards or approval they will just make my life h*** for the whole trip.

My problem is I could figure out the years. I know my mothers just not my fathers. However, they don't want the info out there and if all of a sudden DCL has that info they will know I am the one that gave it to them and then I will never live that one down.

Not to be stupid or anything but why wouldn't AAA just mail you the cruise docs once they come in? In addition, I doubt that a month out they'll even have them - doesn't DCL usually send them out about two weeks prior to sail date?

You could make your life a lot easier and just print them all from the DCL website and fill them out in advance of your arrival at the cruise terminal. That's what Jay and I did in 2005.

All that and a FO??

Ok how do you have your pages set up. I can never tell when I am going to get an FO. I think I might have mine set up different then everyone elses. If I go back a page or two I can see the when other people say FO that it is an FO but when I am posting I am never showing as a new post on a page.

Yes they have their passports but they will not let me see those, and I have never seen their birth certificates. As much as we traveled when I was young they just used their pass ports. Even as an adult I feel horrible if I have to sneak around to get that info. We don't have a family bible so that does not help either.

Then I am really really happy that your husband treats you like gold... you deserve some sort of princess treatment in your life.

Mine are set up 15 to a page. 16 begins next page and thus a FO

We already planed on printing everything out ahead of time and doing it that way for the 5 of us. My parents are stuck on waiting for them to come from DCL in order to fill them out on the plane. Don't ask. As for when the docs arrive. Our TA said that on the 19th of Sept we would have all the air info which will inable us to book our transports. We need to book those 30 days prior to traveling if at all possible because we need a whole van to ourselves and living so far out does not help the situation. As for DCL docs. When she was on the phone with them they said that they are trying to do them about a month in advance now. That if they are booked through a TA they like to get to them ASAP so the TA can go over everything and insure their are no problems to fix. If they were booked privately they do tend to get to the people about 2 to 3 weeks before travel. As for mailing them to me. I could ask but every time we have used AAA they always want us to come get them because we have to sign for them.

So you don't know their birthdates or just the years? Does your birth certificate have their ages? Mine has my parents names and ages at the time of my birth.

So when they get there they will show their passports?

I know the dates just not the year on my father. Scott figured out the year on my mother. Ok I just pulled out my birth certificate. It has all the info right there. But now what. If I give it to the TA our DCL my parents will be p***** at me for life. And we don't have to show our passports because they are not required for us yet.

Well if you call the TA and tell her...she doesn't want to deal with them still... so she won't call them. Tell her you would prefer they didn't know she had them. I doubt she will call them to get them all rattled again. Then at Disney, you can just check them in. Would it work?

Sorry about that. (well, maybe not :rotfl: )

So did you go to KW before St. T or the opposite? I'm surprised you could get to St. T and not St. M.

I'm tired of St. M. so I wouldn't want to get back there. I'll reveal my choices tomorrow when I post the next questions - if you guys want another question.

I want another question! I do, I do, I truly do!

Not woried if we get to Key West, as we've been their twice, and both feel 'been there, done that...' So we're not doing anything special there.

The first time we did the Conch Train tour and all four of us fell asleep on the train and Rick shot 30-45 mins video of his foot and the driver droning on.

Heather:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

:rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2:

Chuck did that once and he wasn't even sleeping!:rotfl2:

Here is a thought. To help out our post count just a little.

My DH has a YOU MIGHT BE A REDNECK IF..... calendar. Would any be opposed to us posting the saying from it for each day. Just to get people thinking and possibly some good laughs. Let me know what you all think.

Hi Mother Goose... just wanted to wish everyone a happy weekend before I disappear for a few days. Will be in touch with you on Tuesday.
