I am off for a while to spend some time with DH before he leaves for work and start creating a website (I hope).

That is a great idea, I will have to suggest that to them, thank you

That is what we do at the school if the kids are afraid of speaking in front of people. Then, we have them stand up there in front of everyone, and let their voice be heard without them speaking. Still has the power of their words without the fear.

The shirt turned out good, I was hoping for a modeling shot. Oh well, I guess we'll have to wait to see it in person.

I would have got her to model it but it's too big for her just yet. She has 90 or so days of growing so I bought it a bit big. hopefully not too big :rolleyes1

How is everyone tonight?

Jessalynn, I liked HP and I will miss the books, my DH is listening to them all over again before he listens to the last one. I loved the ending, which I won't ruin for everyone still reading.

I am playing Distag, in case I have to respond again. Does anyone know where I can find one of the wall hangers, fish, I would like to get one or make one.

We are going to try to put the iron-on onto a white polo for my husband and v-neck shirts for the girls , my mom and I and t-shirts for my dad and Sean. I was online today looking at Magic Kingdom Pictures and I really need to go soon. I have not been in the Wonderful World of Disney for over a year. This is the longest we have been away since we purchased our DVC 5 years ago.

We exchanged out our DVC for a place in Tahoe and after this exchange we decided that we will be more careful on future exchanges, it was not worth it and it was a waste of our points. We will stick to Disney for a while.

We have not decided on our Cozumel Excursion yet, any suggestion from people who have been there? David wants to do the Horseback riding but it is expensive and I am worried that it is not worth it. It is 4 of us and it would cost $400.

I hope all the WI people have a good time of Friday, we would be there except it is Baird night at the Zoo and it is the one night a year that the company pays for something for the whole family. We have the zoo to ourselves after 5 and everything is free. They have a caterer come in and they provide all the food, they even have a band that plays until 11 and it is open beer, wine & soda all night.

My Kaitie is growing up way too fast for my liking, she is now 5'8", has a size 10 shoe and her clothing costs are putting me out of house & home. We had Karate tonight and she is getting those looks from boys who are way too old for her. My DH is not a happy daddy. Her and i are on diets until the cruise so we can actually fit into the evening gowns we have already purchased. LOL I will be getting my orange belt in 3 weeks and Kaitie has started her 6 month training session for her 3 level black belt. She always fights with us about going but she really loves it when she gets there.

I know this was a long post but I am making up for the months away from the board.:rotfl2:

:cool1: Last cruise we didn't get to do a lot of night life because Sean was only 4 and did not want to go in the kids area but this trip I have 2 13 year old girls and the kids area to assist us. I would love to listen to music or just dance. Are there any women, or men, in the KK who like to dance but their spouses hate to? I go out with my friend Christine about once a year to dance or go to a bar and listen to our type of music because our spouses don't care to. I kind of reminds me of high school or college where we liked to dance so we just all danced together in a group on the dance floor.

I will avoid the art auction this time, we got ripped of royally last time. They told us a print would come to us framed and matted and it did. The problem was that the print was matted on a ripped mat and a broken old frame. The Disney art is worth it but stay away from the other art.

DO we all plan on spending some time together on board or not? I would love to meet up on deck or in the clubs sometimes it would make it more fun to do things as a group. While I love my parents they do not like all the same things I do and they can be boring at times.

Have a nice night

We did the horseback riding thing almost 6 years ago. It was just my DH and I. He really liked it because it was a lot of history with the ruins and all. But we both thought we could do the whole thing faster walking. The horses only had one speed and it was turtle. They are not allowed to pass each other and they have to stay in a single file line. Which is perfectly fine unless you get a horse like mine that spend more time going backwards then forward. And I would not recommend the bathroom at the place. Other then that it was ok.

Oh boy, where do I start. I love to dance. My husband does also but he dances differently then I do. I am all in favor of the group of ladies dancing. That does remind me of my club days where it would be a group of us that went dancing.
We are meeting up at 3:00 on the 20th, by the pool. I am also in favor of doing things with people. I am also traveling with my DD, my SDD, and SDS and then my parents. The parent thing would have been ok to an extent but after my mom got sick in April she is not recovering well and will not be able to do much but sit around which will upset her and me so I will need other people to pull me away from her for sanity purposes. And my father, what can I say. He does not travel well with his health and the fact that he is just a plain old grump when he travels.

Hi everyone! Well, it seems that we have found a house to rent! There are no available houses on the base yet, so we are renting right outside the base until our name comes up on the waiting list--about 1 year I think. We are so happy to have found a house so quickly (we arrived here just yesterday).....

And they have added more ressies for Palo on the DCL website! I was able to book a dinner for Rob and me. I tried for brunch too, but the "at sea" days were all booked up.

So since I've been away for the last month or so, could you all repeat everything you've said?:rotfl2:

How's everyone doing?
Karen and Cass--are you guys settled in your new homes?
Linda--How's Little E?
AFEG--How's things in the Mother Land?
Nancy--Thanks for posting the DisTag names.
Jeff--I hope you received my info on the bracelets. Let me know how much $$ I owe you.
Brenda--Have you won that ever elusive lotto?
Everybody else(because there are too many of us to mention all)--How many of you are doing the Pirate Encounter in GC? Should be fun!

Ok, y'all have a great night!:thumbsup2

Glad to hear you made it there and found a house right away. How is everyone doing since the accident??

Does anyone know of a good site to get a domain name from?

My website is created but I need to get a domain name before I can find someone to host my site. Any suggestions. I hate just picking names out of a hat.

Congrats on finding a place so quickly. You will have to let us all know how the move in goes. How are you feeling since the accident? How does living off the base affect things, such as the kids, schooling, activities, his job?

Paige,

Good to hear that you have found a place so fast!! :woohoo: Congrats, I hope it all goes well for you!

We will be moving on August 26th, so not for a few more weeks. I'm sure I will still be unpacking when we leave for Orlando :sad2:

We get ours here:

http://www.domainpeople.com/

Have you decided yet on what domain you want?? I am going to be starting my own business soon too and all the domain names I wanted are taken already :sad2:

Heather,

How old are TheFatMan's two kids???? Just looking at the DIS Tag list and their ages are not listed.

very well done rob. our dd and her friend are opening up a photography studio and was thinking of having something done like that for their website.
are those dance moves yours or was that all done with mirrors?

Um, yup, all my moves. No mirrors necessary though seeing some other guys try to keep up with me means I've seen a lot of pulled groins and falling down.
The song I'm doing the cosack dancing to is of course the big hit from Boney M's hit in 1978, Rasputin :D

And of course, we dress up for YMCA; you really get a bit of entertainment when you book with us ;)

Absolutely!! I think it would be a once in a lifetime experience! Besides Rob would kill me if we missed it. We can always grab some chicken fingers and eat on deck 10 :rolleyes1

We've seen the AP show and have had all the dinners, so as long as Kira has been fed, we would be up on deck! ::yes::

If it was our first cruise though I might have to stay in the restaurant if it was the AP show night.

Kill you? I wouldn't do that.. but I would kidnap Kira and go watch it with her :D
If the "L" gets pushed back, it'll depend on the launch windows for the mission, usually its a few days back as they are going to the ISS. We'll know the other launch dates in mid-September I think when they release them.
Though with the stuff that's going on at NASA right now, I wouldn't be surprised if it got pushed back soon.
