Just checking in. Haven't read anything today yet. Not sure if I'll get around to reading it in depth. If not, my apologies for not answering questions. Also, my apologies in advance for answering old topics.

O.K., so here is a thought provoking question for the day (and this is only hypothetical).

Let's say the unmentionable L gets pushed back to 6:00 p.m.

Do you skip your first dinner to go and watch it?

What if your first restaurant is Animator's and it is the only night they do the "show" (and before you say it, I know the show doesn't start until 6:30 - work with me on this)?

What if you're on late dining and it is at the time of the "Welcome Aboard" show?

Remember to give your reasons for your decision.

Just thought I'd throw that out to see what people think and how important it is for some to see the unmentionable L.

Tough question!

I would probably skip dinner to see the "L" unless it is animators. (I did pay a lot of money to be on this cruise, and it is one of the experiences that I don't want to miss. Also, since "L" hypothetically was delayed to a later time, then the likelyhood is that it is delayed again is high.) There's enough other places on the ship to eat that I don't think that I'll starve.

Absolutely!! I think it would be a once in a lifetime experience! Besides Rob would kill me if we missed it. We can always grab some chicken fingers and eat on deck 10 :rolleyes1

We've seen the AP show and have had all the dinners, so as long as Kira has been fed, we would be up on deck! ::yes::

If it was our first cruise though I might have to stay in the restaurant if it was the AP show night.

It would take the whole of playboy's staff sun bathing on deck 7 or a Man united Game to stop me from watching an "L".....:rolleyes1 Like steve say's thiers just so many places you can get fat why stress about missing one sitting?..:confused3

I don't want to cause more work for you but is there anyway you could post those names as DIS names. I don't know everyones first names yet.

Sure, here you go.

who will have control of plankton? perhaps we can sneek him on the space shuttle and watch him blast off.:scared:

Karen is stealing him from Brenda before the cruise and then he will probably be passed around. Karen may still have him during the big L.:thumbsup2

OMG... you're kidding me right?

No Susan, Heather is not kidding. Don't miss any of the shows!!:sad2:

Ok... who is the Fat MAN? My 11 year old is saying, I'm talking to the fat man's daughter... so now I am going to have to prewarn him to not call her dad the fat man.... LOL

TheFatMan is Dave and Bev from the UK. They are Heather & Ricks friends.:yay:

His Disname is TheFatMan and he's fine with it. But he's lost so much weight of the last few years....he should be known as the Thin Man or the Shadow of himself. :rotfl:

Dave and Bev are celebrating their 25th anniversary on board and Bev's Mum is celebrating her birthday. Dave's daughter is Nicola and his son is James.

As for the 'L' word. There's always Topsiders with Windows!

Heather

Oh my... how can they do that many shows? It is amazing to me. Ok.. I'll go to the shows..lol

That is wonderful that their anniversary is while on the ship. And who could ask for anything better than growing older on the ship that makes you feel young. That is sweet.

Ok, I finally got around to doing Kira's shirt! She's now officially a Konked Kruiser!!! :woohoo:

hahahaha Tell them to go play hide and seek and you'll find them..

Hey you took my idea. But I thought of doing that at the airport before we even leave. Or maybe sending them for one last bathroom trip while the plan is boarding so the plan leaves without them. :lmao:

I absolutely must meet this SCOTT guy - he sounds too good to be true....can he be cloned? does he have a twin brother?

Sorry no brother, he is an only. He is a pretty terrific guy. I just don't seem to tell him that enough. Our only issues come from the ex and the raising of his kids (as in the older 2). Other then that he goes way out of his way to treat me like a princess each and every day. I think I have just come to the conclusion that I don't thank him enough for it. I tend to take for grandtited what he does for me.

Note to self. Tell him this when he gets up today.

Mackenzie knows how to use the microwave? WOW - but after reading your story, I am glad that Avery doesnt know how yet.

sorry about the microwave!!!

Not really I think she just sees us use it and it is down at her level so in the plate went and she just pushed buttons until it started.

I can only answer this for me, not the kids or the DH because I am not sure how they feel about it. But I will be at dinner or the show. I could really care less about the L.
